I keep going back and forth if I want to play it. The game sounds like crap, but once the Ireland DLC comes out I'll be able to run with muh ancestors and murder a bunch of my other ancestors. Even if I get it, never at full price.

I bought it right at release on PC and finished it within the next week. It has some pretty good plot points within the established universe and I wouldn't say I ever felt too bored with the content presented. Granted I didn't do too much of the side content.

Yes but, that's just perspective? I mean, you're not shown the english point of view, and your character to be exact ain't a brutal rapist. You play a goody two shoes so of course they are going to be the bad ones for trying to stop you, even if you're raiding their homes.
There is also the fact Alexander the Great creates the Templar order which are the "Two dimensional baddies" of the AC series.

The game is pretty anti religion but that's been a thing since the first AC. Whack yourself in the head with a hammer if you don't want it to bother you because it's all around.
Also, if I were you, i'd worry more about the actual writing than the SJW writing, because the story is shit, the conversations are autistic and they literally put zero effort in the world, combat, cutscenes, etc. It's pretty disgusting how lazy they got and the game sold better than Odyssey, it's infurating.

started playing odyssey. it's actually not bad. haven't played ass creed since 2.
too much rpg shit though. not big fan of changing gear every 15 minutes and grinding levels.
anyway would this be better game on easy difficulty? i feel like even the little normal shits take way too much time to kill. and the elite dudes i can't even assassinate at least for the time being. which kinda defeats the purpose of stealth i guess. probably have to level up stupid assasssins skills
