What was the last game you bought and why did you buy it?
What was the last game you bought and why did you buy it?
>Last purchase that totally was worth it:
HK, hands down
>Last purchase that was a massive disappointment AND was refunded:
Amnesia 2
> Last purchase that was just a disappinment and wasnt refunded for various reasons:
Minoria
Below
all regrest
insurgency sandstorm
because it's a multiplayer game and i cant pirate it
i pirate everything else
Was it worth it?
This game had such cool atmosphere, too bad it kinda sucks, ugh, some moves and things are not even properly explained
Nioh 2, and I'm going to buy Ghost of Tsushima tomorrow, the reason why is because they're games that appeal to me, simple as that
>some moves and things are not even properly explained
Every time I hear this it reminds me of Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest on NES and the fact you somehow was supposed to figure out to sit on a very specific spot holding down for almost a minute and there were almost ZERO clues about that in game. Yet, as a 9-10 yo kid I managed to figure it out.
sure you did, buddy
got it on sale for 22 euroshekels, yeah it's pretty good.
they've added tons of shit since i got it and it keeps getting better
Yes I did, my little low-IQ (and low-esteem, it seems) fren
13 Sentinels Aigis Rim and ULTRAKILL, both fantastic games.
What moves aren't explained?
I used to play Insurgency back when it was a mod, is it basically the same game?
I bought No More Heroes. Im struggling to stick with it. Combat is simple, yet fun. Writing is amazing. But the graphics are so bad man. Im struggling, Im not even a graphics whore but this style just did not age well at all. The overworld looks like an early GTA 3 alpha test. With no NPCs. It is rough.
Recovery, spike bounce despite they also killing you, and the super dash for starters
dunno man it kind of seems like all of those are completely self-evident if you aren't retarded
This has to be bait
Last game I bought was granblue versus because it looked fun. I dont regret it but its pretty shallow for a fighting game.
KH melody of memories, because I'm a KH simp and I'll buy every one regardless of how shit it is. When you've been on the ride since 12, you're in for life. That said I really enjoyed it for what it was. Trying to get all the collectables is a pain in the ass, but the rhythm combat is genuinely entertaining.
in it's core, yeah, but sandstorm is a major overhaul to 2014 and the original mod.
you've got so much new shit like 6 types of artillery depending if you're on the side of security or insurgents, vehicles, more weapons, an insane amount of attachments, NVG maps, gore, realistic scopes, better ballistics - last i played they added a new map plus the AUG and FAMAS, now in december they're adding somekind of snow map and 2 new marksman rifles i believe, thats when im going to jump back in.
if you can grab it for 20 bucks it's a nice deal.
Trials of Mana
It was my favorite SNES game and I didn't expect the remake to live up, but it was damn good. I deleted my pirate copy and bought it on Steam.
What do you think about the remake
Gonna be honest, it does feel clunky at some points, mo cap is a bit uncanny sometimes too.
Not to mention, it is EASY AS SHIT, I played on Hard and by the end, it just got easier and easier, once you get the cactus ability you wreck shit in 5 seconds with Kevin not counting bosses.
I heard they added some harder modes now, gonna check them out later.
Also, final dungeon (The Mana Shrine/sanctuary, not the post game one) could have been a lot harder and longer too, I know they remained faithful but the 3D transition made it 10 times easier, could have been double or even triple length.
I had fun, not gonna lie, I liked it but next to FF7R production values, they really gave this game pocket change, deserved better.
Animal Crossing
I wanted something to play a bit before work
Ancestors Legacy
It was $1
>they really gave this game pocket change
And it still captivated the original perfectly. Even the final dungeon was adequate length and pacing to the original. The new final 'final' dungeon and jobs were just icing.
It sold insanely well so I'm looking forward to what the success will bring for both budget and quality in new Mana titles.
God of war
I know it's a movie game, i know i wont like it but i am tired of replaying Bloodborne on my ps4 and want to see what the fuss is all about.
RDR2 because it was on sale on EGS and they gave me a free $10 coupon. It's really fucking boring.
Dead Cells and Mega man 1-6 collection for PS4. Dead Cells because someone in Hades thread mentoned and it loojed and it is what I wanted to play and Mega Man because playing the 8bit blue bombers in living room is the canon way and it was only 4 euros.
ultrakill, early access tends to make me hesitate but the demo won me over, what exists so far is great
i loved hollow knight too, it's a shame the threads are full of shitposters
silksong when
post void because it looked fun
