I don't know if this would be more suited for traditional games, but I figure this would be better for exposure. Me and some TG autists have noticed a bunch suspicious grooming activity on Tabletop simulator.
Specifically it's the Poker/Blackjack servers since they usually REQUIRE you to join a discord, which is where contact occurs with vulnerable parties.
The next aspect of those servers is they incorporate a lot of scripts that implement a sort of player progress with saved money, gems, prizes etc... Now progress in a blackjack server to us might not really matter, but in some dumb kids mind? Its a big deal, big enough to let themselves be manipulated by some redditor/discord admin. Shits fucked, and we don't know what to do about it. Contact the devs maybe?
That's not unusual. Sad, but not unusual at all, Any game that you can jam extra progression into will be grounds for people exploiting their power. What game is that? Most go/igo/baduk games are pretty trash and the AI is at best like a 2dan. My favorite is AI Igo on PSP, best AI I've seen for a strictly igo game, but if you're looking for a client for PC, there was a big implosion of the go community because some were using cheats for timers and other shit so there's not much option.

It's called "Being Stronger Silvestar Go DX", for Nintendo Switch. I got interested because it has an extensive tutorial (translated by Google Translate).
Nathan Hernandez
You blow in from stupid town?
Angel Nguyen
What are you having trouble with? Buying a game just for the tutorial sounds really bad. If you'll pardon my shilling I actually made more than a few of the puzzles, and helped create the tutorial here: online-go.com/learn-to-play-go/rules-intro entirely free, interactive too.
Brayden Evans
Thanks. I just want to learn to play from scratch.
Robert Smith
It's really daunting to pick up, but you'll get into it pretty quick if you spend some time learning the lingo. No different than chess or shogi in that regard. I'd still say go is easier than mahjong.
Eli Barnes
>I'd still say go is easier than mahjong. I feel like that can't be possible
David Garcia
online-go.com/puzzle/2625 fuck forgot my second set of links. Once you finish that brief tutorial, that link is a set of beginner puzzles.
Matthew Nguyen
and what do you want the devs to do?
Jonathan Perry
Go? More like go play a better board game
Liam Ross
What can the devs do though? Literally nothing. Contact discord.
Kayden Hill
>discord well for starters there's your problem
Christopher Phillips
I meant in terms of learning. mahjong has dozens of almost random hands you have to study and read a fucking book to learn, go is 2 hours tops learning terms and how the pieces function on a board. Again, like shogi or chess.
Robert Carter
Unless it is your kid, in which case you report the groomer to discord or the feds, why would you care?
>mahjong has dozens of almost random hands you have to study and read a fucking book to learn It really doesn't, none of them are really that complicated except pinfu and some of the yakuman and most of the hands aren't even anything you really need to think about to play the game on a pretty adept level.
Owen Wright
Infiltrate the server as a groomer and document it all, you'll have to do some shady stuff and it might change you but it will all be worth it for that cunny
Eli Ramirez
Okay but where is your proof other than YOU being the one thinking about how you could take advantage of kids?
Gavin Jones
That's a discord problem. Always has been. If discord was allowed to pass the buck to every piece of software that people use discord alongside, there's be a lot of dead software. Also discord is full of rapists and trannies. Stay away.
