kek
firmware update incoming before summer to prevent PS5s from melting?

>graphics fidelity drops massively
All according to keikaku

My gf bought a high end laptop for work and gaming. She was told by the sales people it was for gaming.

However, the games played really badly. It rooks days of research, but I found it that it limits the power to the cpu and gpu. They basically have a shared limited power pool. I turned this off using some overclock software, and now her games run perfectly.

But her laptop runs at a constant 89-95C while playing WoW. So it is technically normal for a laptop cpu.

Jewnexus on xbox payroll i see

Yeah for a laptop. Expect it to start throttling eventually.

To be fair i'd totally believe AMD said that
God i miss my Nvidia card

So he's lying?

They'll increase the fan speed and make it sound like an airplane like the PS4

That isn't normal or recommended. Get a cooling pad or something if you want that laptop to last a long time.

Its literally 95 degrees outside on a regular basis... how shitty is your graphics card it can't be outside without melting?

Repaste the cpu/gpu with something better.

Not all the time for extended period of time. Also, you can bet PS5 doesn't have any top tier cooling solutions you would use when OCing.

No retard. They're going to have to redesign the console sooner than later. They will release the slim version ahead of schedule.

I didn’t know my PlayStation 5 memory could double up as a grill nice. How can Xbox ever recover from this?

Name a single location on earth where its 95 degrees.

celsius user
that's over 200f

My 3600X gets to 78 when I play unoptimized cpu-hungry trash like Star Citzen.

Dude its a laptop, the thermal paste is not the bottleneck lmao.
At best you would probably get within 2c of difference by reapplying it.

I presume that poster meant 95F, not 95C.
Hottest place on Earth is only 53C

Usually computer stuff is measured in metric (Celcius) because 6.7 billion people use it over imperial.

Fuck off American.

it max temp not average learn the different

wait so wait, did PS actually "OC" their console at launch so it looks like it performs better than Xfridge and now we can assume in 3 months there's gonna be an update that gimps the fuck out of it leading to lawsuits or is this actual fucking incompetence like the IHS not actually touching the components.

You can smoke meat on the Xbox

Thanks to intel 14nm++++++++++++ for normalizing 105 degree CPU's.

apple runs all their shit at 212F so it'll be silent.

>not labeling units
>acting like its anyone else's fault but your own for misunderstanding
So this is what third world education is like?

the irony in this post

baka

UNFATHOMABLY BASED

You assumed that the extreme minority was the normal.

You're the retard.

I overclocked my CPU 7 years ago and it runs 90 C at full load and has run at full load on average 10 hours per week for 7 years. Never replaced thermal paste and using stock CPU fan... So if PS5 is melting then it must be off the charts poor engineering.

>being american

stop posting user

Using Kelvins would be the norm.

not with vape you cant

this actually doesn't matter as long as the console works

You'd be amazed at how shit laptop manufacturers make their devices. Undervolting and repasting can help a lot.

it matters cos the console won't be working for long

I mean, in dekstops its fine, smaller enclosed builds like laptops or consoles can run into more issues from excessive heat.

wanna bet

Just play the recommended 2 hours a day with 15 minutes breaks every 30 minutes.

Do Americans really?

But it isn't.

That's a specific measurement for specific industries.

Imperial is a specific measurement for literally 2 countries.

true, but people have been posting burn marks and melting plastic around the exhausts

Its going to be another red ring of death situation where the CPU literally desolders itself

there's already multiple instances of the console failing so that's a really dumb bet to make

so you're OK with it breaking in 2 years and buying the new version at full price?

120 degree on gpu and around 95 was ok a decade ago

>NOOOOOOOOO RESETERA TRANNYS ATTACK THIS BIGOT RIGHT NOW!!

I hate americans so much

also corporate bullshit so you can't just pay a chink 20 dollars to reattach it when it does to get a year or more extra out of the system

95C in winter with ambient at 21C

Try it in summer with ambient at 35C and see how it works

still buying a ps5 cope pc and xboxkeks

how many more days before sony has to recall all the ps5's?

Attached: 1588021014262.png (1024x512, 262.04K)

if you want kelvin just add 273 to whatever celsius number you have

there's literally nothing wrong with the PS5

still coping over losing again xkek every time

Firmware updates will increase fan speeds to make it a health hazard like the PS4

wtf would they do that

The problem on a laptop is not the CPU or GPU heat, the problem is that it ends up messing with your keyboard contacts. I had a gaming laptop that used to run pretty hot and after half a year or so the keyboard was borderline unusable as keys stopped working on and off as it got hotter. Everything else was fine but the keys simply didn't work and I had to play with an external keyboard.
Good luck to your girlfriend.

Based retard

I don't own a shitbox you fucking schizo tranny, get back on your knees for EA cum faggot.

Someone post his video on R*s*t*ra, they're gonna have a meltdown
