>lol lets make a 30+ hours long Soulsborne game set in Japan
>but you can only use 1 weapon xD
I'm glad Fromsoft finally realized that people just finish their games once and never touch or replay them ever again.
Lol lets make a 30+ hours long Soulsborne game set in Japan
It works thought. The combat is the best, the finally nailed it throughout however many games. Its the best souls-game and the one with the most replayability ironically. There is no other game like it, but there are plenty of souls games. They'll probably never go back to it and I douby anyone will attempt something like it. A true jewel and a testament to great games throughout history
Replayability is a meme only like 5 percent of people ever do. Even a extremely replayable game is hardily replayed.
Yeah this is true. You only reply games that you actually enjoy and value the gameplay. If it's good enough to stand on its on then you'll play it again. Which is why Sekiro is so good. You can cheese some bosses but you just have to git gud and learn the moves. When you come back to sekiro after months, you forget certain bosses but you learn them much quicker and it's really the only souls game that makes you feel like a king for beating bosses. Other games have NPC summons which break the game.
Is there a bigger meme weapon?
the only games i replayed more than 2 times are sekiro, max payne 3 and mirrors edge. none of them is replayable in Zig Forumsermin hiveming tho
I dont know about you but I beat Rae4 like 11 times in 3 different consoloes.
>be me
>only play katana dex builds in souls games anyway
Bet you can imagine my smell just from this post.
The problem with it was almost all the ninja tools were fucking terrible. You might as well only use firecrackers throughout the entire game
All my friends that play the souls games have played them multiple times
Don't get me wrong, I think the game would be better with more weapons or whatever, but it doesn't, and it's always felt like a weird complaint to blame a game for something it didn't do, rather than something it did wrong.
>muh builds
>everyone just copies the same 4 builds from reddit
Sekiro is only good Souls game.
it's literally perfect, i've never much cared for the weapon variety in the other games since I just used whatever i liked most. i don't really have time to replay shit anyways so having a nice focused experience is what makes sekiro my favorite game
sekiro bosses are better than any other simply because the feeling of a pure duel has never been so purely replicated before (except maybe The Edge from Furi). no boss has ever felt so great to me as slowly gitting gud against Father Owl
they're situational for sure, but part of the fun is figuring out and experimenting with when each is useful. ultimately the game forces you to rely on parries and strikes the most which is ideal imo
>no boss has ever felt so great to me as slowly gitting gud against Father Owl
The only Owl fight that's really hard is 2nd Owl boss fight. that was harder then isshin. i beat isshin in two tries after 2nd owl.
i beat demon's souls over 10times, dark souls 1 like 5 times, dark souls 2 and 3 only once. But I beat Sekiro 20 times. Checkmate op and check these singles
The tools would be great though if they let you use them infinitely. I know the talismans are cheap af but it's still annoying.
>wtf Geralt can only use long swords?!
>wtf my military guy can only use guns?!
>wtf these fightan guys can only use limbs?!
>wtf Raziel can only use soulreaver?! (don't imply you use spears once you get it)
>wtf my jrpg party members can only use one type of wepaons?!
>wtf crash can only spin?!
Its weird how Zig Forumsermins suddenly hate sekiro for doing something that hasn't ever been a problem.
FUCK MIYAZAKI AND FUCK SOULS
>Sekiro
>30+ hours long
How can I beat the Demon of Hatred? Is it worth it?
Funniest part is that the weapons don‘t change anything about your role->R1->roll->R1 routine anyway.
let me guess... you got filtered by the monkey?
I dont understand why zoomers care about only having one weapon in Sekiro.
well it wasn't like First Owl was easy...but Father Owl is on another level of relentless, and now i know his entire moveset+counters like the back of my hand. feelsgoodman
yeah i wish that emblems (or at least a minimum 10) were refilled on rest. it does discourage experimentation early on since you're overwhelmed with so many prosthetics in the first 5 hours of the game.
sounds fair to me. takes about 30-40 for first go if you're not doing shura
there is some hilarious cheese where you can lock him behind a tree, do some out-of-bounds platforming, and make him charge off the cliff.
Not a souls game
>soulsborne
Kill yourself. Bloodborne was literally dark souls 4, without shields, a worse healing system and poor performance. It didn't Invent anything.
Souls-like is the correct name for the genre
>well it wasn't like First Owl was easy
First owl wasn't easy but compared to 2nd owl he's nothing. I really feel that Miyazaki is holding back when it comes to difficultly in Souls games. With every boss in every souls-like there is pattern to overcome and learn. I think in the future, when he's older he'll create a game that has bosses to adapt to techniques you use to beat making evne harder and I really want something like that. With the combat like Sekiro it's perfect but after you master it you can roll through any boss.
I was missing the Tenchu games and this is the closest I had.
Cope
wow that's a really stupid opinion
you're in Japan... why would you need another weapon?
>dark souls 4
>came out before dark souls 3
Any other retarded opinions you want to share with us
Kill yourself
Never ever
Is that why DS3 has 15K players online 5 years after launch?
Going a 3rd playthrough. Its really hard to get back to Souls games when you get used to Sekiro's gameplay speed.
>he'll create a game that has bosses to adapt to techniques you use to beat making evne harder and I really want something like that.
this would be interesting although I do think it would require expanding every bosses' moveset 2-3x so there's still variety as they keep adapting to whatever move you've started exploiting
>With the combat like Sekiro it's perfect but after you master it you can roll through any boss.
which is what makes it great. your progress comes from genuine demonstrable skill
cope. bloodborne has the greatest environmental storytelling in the history of the medium, and gameplay that perfectly complements it's narrative
>wnb hardcore gamers think they are cool for doing souls pvp
Nothing to do with replaying.
It's not dark souls.
wow what an impressive number
>The combat is the best
It's a fucking rhythm game. They just took DaS3 bosses and turned them into every enemy in Sekiro.
I've played Sekiro 4 times though
>if they let you use them infinitely.
It would break the game.
Because it is pure SOUL.
>15k
false, more like 5k, and its because people like to feel like they're good at pvp when in reality its nothing but a laggy shit-mess
wow has several million people still playing, does that mean their game design is good too?
IMO 2nd Owl is easier, because you can run him down and just keep attacking him the same way you can easily beat Lady Butterfly by just going at her face 100%. The only two times you need to get back from his face is when he throws the gunpowder + slash, and when he does the teleporting shit with the illusion owl. Everything else you just try to deflect and keep hitting him with your sword.
