Which covenant will you guys pick?

Gonna go necrolord on my druid because their leather set is the coolest. I don't give a fuck about meta covenant abilities. Haven't decided for other characters yet

So is this another expansion of world of chorecraft?
I quit legion and bfa the first patch because of all the daily timegated shit you needed to do.
If i buy this expansion will i be able to chill and do arenas/dungeons without all the extra shit?

I got glad back when the game was hard and didn't do a single daily quest or raid.
Imagine paying an expansion box price on top of a 15 dollar subscription per month to do mobile game mechanics to keep your character "caught up"

He has a point. BfA's major problem was being forced to do chores, grinds, and jumping through hoops in order to remain competitive at player power level, at a level like no previous expansion.

In Shadowlands they toned that down, the majority of content is "optional", and the only must do's for player power leading up to raid release are emissary equivalent world quests, daily dungeon, and weekly Torghast soul ash cap, all of which also have catch-up mechanics so you're only a week or two behind if you take a break.

The covenant renoun is time gates you need I think over 2 months of playing every day to cap it. I think 2 months maybe 3

Decide for yourself and don't trust icyvein/wowhead, because Blizzard will release micro patches to adjust numbers and shit on your minmax autism

Oh there's timegating everywhere, but it's all the cosmetics stuff, not player power.

You'll need to do your daily world quests and/or Daily HC dungeon to get your Renown capped. Renown levels increase world quest ilvl at certain tresholds, which is why you need this.
You'll need to do weekly Torghast runs in order to craft your legendaries.

You can buy and upgrade PvP gear with honor at certain Renown levels.

Keep in mind that weekly chest options from PvP only are unlocked from Rated BG and Arena.

Torghast is fun though. It's the best new content they've done in years. No comparison to crap like Island Expeditions or Warfronts.
