What are your specs and what are you playing/looking forward to playing?
I recently got a Legion 5p with a I5-10300H/2060/16gb/144hz and am about 20 hours into Divinity OS, just finished Cyseal and am really enjoying it. Also been enjoying Cloudpunk, nearly finished with it, it's a very pretty game.
They really aren't as bad as they used to be. It has a very subtle design and isn't heavy, when I'm not gaming I can get around 8-9 hours battery life.
Same specs as my old Thinkpad x260, I could get 30fps on Divinity before I switched to this laptop, used to play a bit of skyrim on it too.

kek I'm on a X260

They look decently spec'd for the price. We don't get all that much in the UK for decent prices, by all accounts £900 for a 2060 laptop was pretty good 6 months ago.

RTX2060 + R5 3600 /16gb ddr4/144hz Just about to beat Demon's Souls again. As someone not interested in the remake at all really and just loves the original? It's a fucking dream come true to be able to play it at a consistent 60fps with this resolution. The fact we have online too is so good Monster Hunter ongoing stuff I'm taking a break from WoW:Shadowlands tonight because I'm addicted and have no friends
Isaiah Myers
How are you playing demon souls user? Also have fun with Shadowlands, I know the feel been holed up inside as we are in another lockdown just playing vidya
Jeremiah Parker
play divine divinity user it's way better than nu-larian shit
Christopher Wilson
i got it for $300 so not a bad deal at all. even runs dirt 4 and rdr2 at 60 fps
Hudson Lopez
RPCS3 man. If you don't up the resolution scale too high you can probably emulate really well on your specs (if you're OP). Just check the wiki for the couple of settings you have to change once you're setup. Although the bottom compiler in CPU is currently the best for it - something the wiki needs to be updated on. I seem to have loading screen crashes at 4k that others don't but 1440p is perfectly fine for me.

Divine Divinity actually looks pretty good might give it a go.
What's wrong with the Larian Games assuming it's not the turn based aspect you aren't into?
^Something you will be able to run on your x260 user ;)
Josiah Price
Why did you get the i5 version?
Adam Perez
Nice! I did think maybe emulator but I had no idea PS3 emulation was that stable! From what I've heard beyond the graphical upgrade the gameplay is pretty much the same as the original on PS3 so you're probably not far off of what the remaster is offering.
Benjamin Richardson
A couple of reasons: >AMD Version wasn't out yet >I5 version was discounted to £900 and the only configuration option was between 1660ti and 2060 gpu.
Jonathan Walker
How hot does it run tho? My laptops as a kid wouldn't last more than a year or two before the motherboard fried.
Jonathan Powell
I don't honestly know, the fan does pick up a fair bit during intense sessions but I can keep it on my lap comfortably. My previous gaming was laptop (960m) I had for 4 years and It still worked great before I sold it. I upgraded to this laptop because I thought I would be travelling a lot for work, then the rona happened...

The 4800H/2060 version in France is discounted to 1200e. Sry bud.

CoD Cold War & Cyberpunk 2077
Christopher White
That's still £250 more than I paid roughly, is the AMD version really worth that much more?
Fuck yeah, looking forward to cyberpunk, me and my gf are still playing MW2019, is the new COD worth it?
Mason Cooper
the new cod *will be* worth it, I am not fond of mw (sorry) and skipped bo4, so I am all for the admittedly early access title (for the first time in cod history, yikes) since they are doing things right with free DLC, & the new zombies is slick AF

Nvidia GT620 4go Ram Hardrive 1 To No case Intel I5
Dont need more, i'm only playing old game or not graphical one (Mount and blade, Ck2, CS:go etc...)
2600x Waiting on the 3080 to fall back to MSRP. Then I'll get one and buy Cyberpunk.
Until then I'll just finish RDR2 on my RX580.
Dylan Gonzalez
Ha! No judgement here, MW2019 is the *only* COD game I have ever played and I really enjoyed it so was curious about the new one, I know a lot of people rave about the zombies mode but how is the regular online multiplayer?
Well done on getting a 30 series card user, I'm also looking forward to cyberpunk but am not convinced it will be optimal on a 1070/2060 mobile.
It's a little more than £970, I tend not to import things that are this expensive anyway, regardless what makes the AMD version better? genuinely curious.
>how is the regular online multiplayer? servicable, the new VIP escort gamemode is great ( I like Search & Destroy because it is essentially Counter-Strike) it is similar to S&D weapons sound iffy but I am not someone who cares bout that sorta thing
James Mitchell
You can actually run it high on 2060 But no raytracing
