What's Zig Forums verdict for this game?
Based Table Top game. It takes a man of pure culture to appreciate it.
I want to the rabbit
the wolf
the fox
the big thicc rat
And the she-bear
Why can't furries go 1 day without indulging in their bestiality hedonism?
Did we seriously forget Magna, the literal THICC shieldmaiden
I wish there was an rpg based on it. There's a lot of great artwork and peeks into the lore/world by the cards alone but the game itself is pretty short/shallow albeit fun.
Dude, there is nothing wrong with petting animals.
Wait... Did you think---?! :DD
Get your mind out of the gutter. :^)
That's the wolf.
It's very fun with friends. There's oportunity for betrayal, and unexpected turn of events due to the RNG, yet the strategy plays a big part.
I wish they would turn this into an rpg series. I like the world and lore, but not really that much into the actual gameplay.
I played it for a bit and it was fun, but I never got a feel for it mostly because controlling only one character is boring when you could be controlling an entire army.
why'd they draw her so hot ??
THE WORK OF ONE WHO CONSORTS WITH BEASTS
I straight up don't understand general strategies despite having played a lot with friends. I usually pick shield wolf or bane wolf and just unga bash my way to the end.
I like seeing the ai sperg out and kill each other while sitting in a corner doing my own quests
That is the strategy.
I wasn't into the dice rolling because it's either really bullshit in your favor, or it's the opposite. It would ironically be more boring with the 'exploding tree' dice but combo'ing things to death because you rolled 15 exploding trees with 5 dice is fucking ludicrous. At the very least remove the reroll chance per dice when one crits.
>got game for free on release
>still disappointed
Good tech demo at least.
because hedonism is based and you are cringe
The RNG is bullshit. You could have 12 die, but if all go to shields or even just fail you could very well lose the fight or end up in a stalemate that wastes an action point.
Also, winning a regicide victory is hard. Killing the king is easy, surviving after killing him is not. 90% of victories are always prestige after a long match of attrition.
thats RNG for ya
is the DLC worth it?
yes all of them
i like the turtle
It's pretty fun, though I am finding it hard to not get demolished when I find a multiplayer game.
Rabbit Clan best clan.
>but combo'ing things to death because you rolled 15 exploding trees with 5 dice is fucking ludicrou
They actually added an explode cap to the game, now dice can't just explode infinitely but instead have a cap equal to your Spirit stat, which was a pretty good way to make that stat not useless unless you're Sana.
That's why you bring cards to burn, they're guaranteed results and going to a King fight without having a way to use up most of your rolls is just asking for trouble.
Remember that there's items that secure a minimum prestige too that you can't be lowered below, like the item that ups your prestige by how many settlements you have.
Fun, but very luck-based, so you'll occasionally hit a bad run that ruins your chances for the rest of the game. Cute art, though.
wow havent seen this talked about on Zig Forums.
it's casual fun, not something youll play for hours on end (like most board games). very comfy too.
theres strategy, but only play it if you can handle rng. after all, it is a board game with DICE. you can get fucked over if your luck is bad.
and the artwork is great
whats good about em? Im really picky when it comes to buying DLC
prestige victories? thats a thing of the past, before many of the updates/patches. i play the game regularly and almost never see prestige victories (which sucks when i play elyssia). it's usually spirit stone victories these days, or killing the king.
i feel like they made spirit stones too abundant. someone always has 4 within the first 5 fucking turns somehow.
not him, but play the game with vanilla characters first, then check the wikia for the dlc characters' abilities, stats, and rings to decide if they interest you enough.
personally, i bought all except the dragon since it came out after i stopped playing as much.
They're extra characters each with their own gimmicks. Bandit Clan has a pretty interesting assortment, for example. You got the squirrel that has perma-Evade but will steal a card after battle, the fox that can get followers off rescuing towns, the old guard that can switch positions with the King's Guard as long as he doesn't have a bounty and so on.
Most of them are more interesting than the starter cast (or at least Amber since she's just cursed to suck with an useless passive)
Used to be, stones victory was a massive pain in the ass to get - guess they decided to make it easier.
How's the phone version?
i havent played it but im guessing it's completely dead. just stick to pc
