I'm glad I saved up and invested in a PC. I used my rig for remote school, my digital art, statistical simulations. Its a great multi-tool that I can also use to game. It was worth saving up for a few months to get it all put together.

I'm a guy living in a second world country. Spending money on the console secures my desires to play new games for the next 7 years. Sorry if I can't spend 4000$ dollars on a PC like amerimutts

It is a good point though - I put more money into other hobbies than I do into gaming, but I don't game as much now as I did back in my teens. I'm sure if I actually had access to more money back then I would've invested in a higher end PC.

My $500 PC can run basically anything I throw at it (for now) at 60 fps with some tweaks to settings. You just have to do a little shopping around on Ebay.
