Bloodstained

So Bloodstained's fun, but the art and graphics hold it back somewhat. I still have very high hopes for the sequel since there's nowhere to go but up with the quality. What was your favourite shards and weapons, Zig Forums?

I like the whips the most. Guns are pretty fun too.

Doing an NG+ run with guns and the Recycle Hat was pretty fun.

Playing around with the different elemental bullets for certain areas and boss fights is always fun.

Rhava velar, the new crissaegrim

Yeah, it was.

That was my main weapon for my first run.

Sadly the whips have such a short range. they all look so cool

The only whip that actually functions like a Castlevania whip is the DLC Whip Sword.

I forgot the name, but that close range explosion directional shard. That was my favorite.

I think it's Riga Dohin

Bunny and fireball.
Shanoa and Aradia mods when?

When do the nude and rape mods get made?

>but the art and graphics hold it back somewhat
And the shitty gameplay and animation and music too

>Favorite weapon
Either Blue Rose or Zangetsuto
>Favorite shard
Circular Ripper

Blue Rose is great, but doesn't Grand Izayoi outclass Zangetsuto?

>Grand Izayoi
I don't think I ever got around to getting it.

It's the Bloodstained equivalent of Muramasa in SotN, it gets stronger the more you use Bloodless' blood steal ability.

Bloodstained makes me think that if IGA were ever to return to Castlevania, the next game should be a third Sorrow game so he can further refine the systems. Fuck crafting, though, I want my character progression to be a reward for exploration and drops.

Rhava Bural and Heretical Grinder carried me through the game until I could get Rhava Velar.

I don't want Bloodless Iga... just fucking give me Dominique already!

>shard
Head Flail, Heretical Grinder, Reflector Ray, Sword Expertise and High Jump. admittedly haven't tried the other shards yet, but Directed Shield became part of my boss loadout when I found out you can control it's direction with the right stick.
>weapon
Bandit Blade and Rhava Veral.

Which is better for item drops, Gambler's Rings or Plunderer's Rings?
Also, I think I found another way to cheese Kunekune - once he spawns, run left to the cargo car and jump over the box on the ground.
You'll be out of his range even if both of you are hugging the box, and you can reach him with a mid-rank Heretical Grinder.

Dominique was de-confirmed, though, it hurts. We're probably getting O.D or Gebel, though.

>Dominique was de-confirmed
Source?

Oh great, more edgelords...

What if it turns out to be a dual character game with Todd and Valefor?

Too based to be true, Iga is a hack.

I think some devs said so in the Bloodstained forums.

But Bloodless is fun to play as.

Doing a new run, I was planning on mainly using the whip, but I've been constantly grinded technique while exploring. The first time I went with the more OP shards, this time around I've been playing around with the more fun ones.
I really like the whip, I like that it have a very rigid hitbox, so you can miss stuff in-between. And while the technique is great, I really wish they would add some more for it, one is criminally low for a whip weapon. Might pick up the Sword and Spear when I unlock more skills

I want a more spell focused Dominique, or something how she played in CotM2. But that will never happen

I'd personally take a nun thot over a vampire thot any day any time.

do any of the other castlevania feature techniques and street fighter moves that you can learn?

Only Symphony of the Night.

Both would be ideal but what we got is good too.

So I killed some old mans dog in Castlevania 4, and he broke down in tears. Also, how do I get up to that platform right after that secret area?

Just not what I need.

Do I upgrade shards with both grinding the shard itself and or upgrade it at the alchemist?

My favorite part was customizing the mc to be a brown elf cock-slut

Maybe she'll be playable in RotN2.
Both.

Both, you grind them and you collect materials to upgrade them.

I still can't believe they made her better in such a short time span. She looked fine before but now she's just great.

Yes.
Rank improves the shard's function, and is done at Johannes',
while Grade improves the shard's overall stats, and is increased through gathering shards.
For ex, Augment LCK. Increasing rank adds a crit rate boost on top of the luck boost, while increasing grade increases the luck boost.
also if you enhance a passive shard to rank 9, it becomes a skill shard, and you can equip both skill and passive shards to double the effect but that's a secret so shush.
