I'm a poorfag who can't afford a switch, convince me this game is crap so I don't feel bad about not being able to play it

It's on sale right now, actually.
It's amazing and I fell in love with it, though, first time a jrpg got me like that in like 7 years. I'm sorry OP i can't
its great but its not really going anywhere, you know?
It's on sale right now bro. XC2 is a great game with a god tier last 20 hours.
This game looks like weeb trash but people keep saying it's great. Is this another attempt at deception?
OP doesn't have a Switch.
Whatever look Switch emulation is improving significantly so you might have other venues.
Game drags on for too long with stupid stuff and the anime cringe is cringy
Idk how in a game full of cute girls, huge tits, and lovable personalities this god became my favorite
>Switch emulation is improving significantly
that is literally my only hope
>Nomura regulated to only doing art
What kind of dirt does Takahashi have on Nomura?
It has a lot of flaws and "cringe" moments, and the battle system takes too long to get going.
Yet for some reason it clicked for me in a way that I hadn't felt since I first played games like Grandia, Skies of Arcadia, and Lunar. I don't know if it was the music, the art direction, or the optimistic story but it reminded me why I fell in love with JRPGs in the first place. I know I sound like a shill but it's true.
I loved him, his design looks straight out of Xenogears.
That being said, you know something is wrong when the best looking characters in the main cast were designed by Nomura.
I'm sorry user, that's a pity, it's one if my favorite games. Maybe some day you can play it.
It really is making strides.
They are friends and Nomura was one of the guest artists. He doesn't work for Monolith.
Yes, Chapters 7 to 10 are where all the character development and drama take place, and they make the game worth it, but Chapters 1-6 take 60+ hours to get through.
If you have money to get a good enough PC to emulate Switch you may as well give $40 to Monolith Soft so we keep getting these games.
>character development
There is no development, the characters are cardboard.
Are you talking about Xenoblade 2? Every main character has their own arc, except for Jin, he gets an entire expansion. The main party of this game is my favorite group of any JRPG, even the noppon is a good character for a change.
Sorry user this is one of the best game experiences I've had in the last decade I can't recommend it enough and as such can't come up with any flaws that aren't nitpicks
The only character I can say has no noticable character development is Morag and that's because she already was a great character from the start
just watch a full playthrough of it on youtube
that's not how it works
Sorry user its great
Welp, too bad OP, it's pretty much the best Switch game. And considering how much gameplay you get out of it, I'd say it's worth sacrificing something else in return. Sell that AAA onrail game you'll never play again, eat some good rice and pasta for a week, and there, you solved your problem.
The DLC alone, in my country, costs twice the price of an AAA game on Steam. Is there all that value in this shit or is it just Japanese exploiting its submissive consumer audience?
I have literally nothing to 'sacrifice'
Well, you could still sacrifice your virginity
Still worth it tbqh
Sorry, fella, it's frigging great.
when I try to run Xenoblade 2 it just crashes
it's shit, just like the rest of the series is. You're not missing out. Go emulate Saga or Gears if you want a decent Xeno experience.
It's pretty middle-of-the-road: a game with high highs and low lows.
Episode I only. II and III are dog shit.
It looks like shit in handheld.
It's supposedly an "action" RPG, and despite being able to things to cancel the lag of certain moves, it ultimately doesn't matter because as long as you know when to cancel auto attacks into artes, that's all you need to do - your gear and pouch items matter much, much more than "player skill" does.
The gacha system is retarded.
Field exploration is bogged by Field Skills.
Blade bonding takes way too much time.
The "it gets good in 20 hours" is kinda real because you at first you need to let autoattacks build up your artes, and you don't have the Driver Skills that make combat breezier. You also lack unique blades, and only one party member, Poppi, is IMO interesting until Morag and Zeke join.
Xenoblade 1 has prettier vistas than 2.
And finally I think this is one of the best games on Switch regardless of all that, and what's amazing to me is that I think that mostly because of this game's story, which I fucking love. It's one of the few times I feel like this, because all the RPGs I like both because of the gameplay and story.
