Picked up animal crossing a week ago because my wife wanted it and now I'm actually playing it more than her. I didnt get the appeal of this game until I played it myself.

This year was fucking shit for the Switch, I don't know how some of you faggots say that it's the best thing ever when there has not been a better indicator of Nintendo greed and laziness than this system.

What are some good switch games that aren't like 40+ quid?

I'm convinced that game and Bayo 3 are vaporware. And that SMTV, just like DQXI S, is going to be a Switch timed exclusive.

Really wanting B3 as well, the two I desperately want are nowhere to be seen. The fact that we're probably getting BOTW2 before either of them is odd

I hope BOTW2 does some interesting stuff. It isn't my favorite Zelda game, nor do I think it is deserving of all its accolades that laud it as basically the best game ever and a solid 10/10, but I do think it's the best open world game I have played - that's a genre I don't care much for. I, again, struggle really hard to see what so many people see in the Switch that is supposedly so great. I'm pretty convinced they say that because they were jaded faggots with nothing to play and are now in a sort of honey-moon period.
Even threads like this - I suspect the grand majority of people in them are here to justify their purchase to themselves, despite never admitting it.

Got Evoland since it was on sale. It's pretty meh, basically just "REMEMBER [THING FROM JRPG]?!" - the game, problem being that it only derives the most cliche mechanics from the most mainstream of RPGs. It feels like it was made by a boomer that only ever played 2D Zeldas and FFVII and the game becomes pretty stale once it stops "evolving", which is sadly about 1/4th in.

I've maybe bought 4 games total for my Switch in the three years I've owned it. I barely play anything anymore because nothing gives me pleasure

I rarely play mine anymore because of the severe lack of games, and unlike other systems I can't just buy third party shit. Unless that consists of older indie games, which I've already played elsewhere for far cheaper.
I don't know, maybe if new horizons was my first AC game, I would be obsessed with it but I got bored of that really fast.

They haven't revealed any gameplay trailers, no story teasers, no concept art and so forth, let alone an official release date.

A lot of people thought DQ XI S truly would be a Switch exclusive, so when I finished the Switch version and saw this (pic related) before the S version was announced for PS4, etc I thought to myself:

Well depends on if you can't replays as there's obvious various branching stories and different endings but you can finish your first run in like 10 hours
