Yes, because Reach came from developers have proven themselves in the past to make something decent. You don't fault an untrained dog for pissing on the carpet.

Ghost of Onyx game when?

Go back

Never got to play this back in the day, was so ready to love it when it came to PC but sadly it's just no fun at all.

3>1>ODST>2>Reach

The shit that goes down in the last mission felt forced as fuck, like noble only had to die because the plot demanded it.

Six and Emile could have just stayed in the pelican, it was only being chased by a few banshees and Emile was doing a great job at shooting them down with the grenade launcher. Plus Carter seems to have ditched the banshees by the time you see him again with the scarab anyway, and while the pelican was damaged it could've made it to the autumn - we've seen instances of heavily damaged pelicans going pretty far distances before so theres no reason why they couldn't have made it. Those niggas should've just stayed in carters pelican and flew straight to the autumn

Reach is objectively a 10/10 game and if you disagree then you're a faggot.

retard six had to defend the pelican with the cannon

I dont get why Six didnt just hijack a covenant ship and escape reach. He was clearly capable of clearing out massive amounts of covenant by himself so he could've done it.

Or failing that why not just go hide in a cave or something?

Youre remembering the level wrong you dumb nigger bitch. The cannon was there to provide the pillar of autumn with covering fire, not the pelican. Plenty of pelicans were coming and going from the autumn, marines are getting dropped off by pelican when you're clearing the pad. Keyes even comes down to the pad in a pelican. So clearly pelicans can make it without covering fire from the cannon.

If they just flew straight to the autumn they wouldn't have even needed the cannon because they wouldve arrived there way earlier, before the covenant cruiser and all the phantoms showed up

Even if he did somehow manage to hijack a ship he would immediately get shot down by the hundreds of capital ships on reach.

I'm playing through the entire series (chronologically) for the first time, outside running through them on their respective console at release, and Reach looks a little too 'sharp' and while I'm enjoying the bleak story it's not gripping me as much as it did when I was younger. It's taken me around four play sessions to get to KATs death. I'm hoping Chief manages to fully grab my attention and interest when I start the original Halo.

Then again it's probably not Reach's fault. I'm starting to get a little hyped for Cyberpunk again, and it's making old games feel less interesting to me.

>level breaks out and no one cares that she just got sniped in the head

Yeah. Best Halo game alright. No one cares about any reach characters. OOOOO LOOK AT THIS ONE! HE'S GOT A SKULL ON HIS HELMET AND HAS A KNIFE OHHHH WHAT A BAD ASS!

5's multiplayer is unironically better than Reach's multiplayer. Reach still has a better campaign, but that's a low bar, and Reach's campaign still sucks in a lot of ways.

I still suspect they planned to have Six survive somehow, despite how definitive the ending seemed.

yep, been seeing it on every halo related YouTube comment section for the past 10 fucking years

You mean the worst

Yes

I don't know about the best, but I liked Noble Six so much more than mister chef.

They are fairly generic super soldiers brainwashed from childhood whose only remaining individuality is usually tied to their role as a Spartan. What exactly are you expecting?

I mean fuck, up until they visually reintroduced them, female Spartans were supposed to be almost visually identical frame-wise to male, and completely butch/unattractive due to all the augmentation as kids. Yet in Reach (and the rest) they have ass jiggle, feminine frames, and are basically just amazons. I consider it an improvement, but it's clear they realised normies wouldn't like how the expanded lore envisioned them.

Bookshit doesn't work in the games so never.

Should have played in release order
