The Movies

Does anyone else remember this game? I played the fuck out of it back when I was like 10-14. Guess it's no wonder why I've come to watch over 1000 movies since then.

sequel when

Given that Lionhead shut down the serves ages before the studio died, I doubt we'll ever see a proper sequel. But I'm sure there will be some indie studio out there that makes a spiritual successor.

I played it, shit was dope. A cool combination of a tycoon game with Sims elements.

I remember posting a movie online, and some dude starting beef with my studio. And having to fight him for taking my ideas. The 12 year old movie studio drama was real

hold up, a who and a what now?

You remember how you could post you movies the the website. Some other little kid either took my ideas, or said i took his, cant remember.

I remember the function, but never used it. But that's pretty funny, ngl

Overlooked classic. I streamed this on twitch to a bunch of fuckin' clueless zoomers who don't know good old PC games when they see em. I made a few movies, including one about a fake E3 conference where one of the "games" being shown was a messed up space alien thing where one of the aliens danced to the fortnite default dance song. Shit was so cash.

HAHAHA That sounds hilarious.

Dope game. One of my movies got chosen as a Hot Pick or whatever on their site and I rode the high from that shit for an embarrassingly long time.

I just reinstalled my copy. I don't remember the metas or how to not be shit. Does anyone remember some shit I should know before diving back in?

Always have young and sexy actors. Make sure they have alot of plastic surgery

Hell yeah this was class! I also picked up the stunts expansion pack. Such a great game.

I got it wayyy back when it first came out. It barely ran on my shit PC, but I made a couple of Dante and Virgil skits that I thought were pretty funny.

it was kino
i remember there was some korean or jap on the official site who made kino movies with it

I remember the fetish films and Jerma videos, that is all

AND JUST LIKE

THE MOVIES

Extremely fun, but also I could never actually make it far enough into a game from the lowest 'tech level' to get to the more modern things.

I'd love a remake.

I cringe pretty hard when I look back on the movie I made with this. It's still up on youtube somewhere

I just made ww2 action movies over and over again

Back in high school one of our English projects involved us creating a movie. Instead of just filming real people, my friend and I used this to make the movie instead. It was pretty cool.

I always remember working really hard on good movies and them turning out having mediocre to shit reviews.

That OMG24 presentation was FUCKED.

Holy fuck I remember this. This shit was amazing. I think it was included with my HP PC back then or something
