me too, but i love vr. i resent having to get a facebook headset but until something else matches the quality and price i'm stuck with them. been buying vr games on steam so i don't get stuck having to use revive or not be able to play quest games when the next gen comes out

If you are going to try and use a burner account you risk getting whatever games you get for it taken and having to make a new account anyways.

as safe as it is buying anything else off ebay i'm sure, probably gonna pay a bit more of course. worst faults have been minor lens smudges/spots and a loud fan but nothing major that i'm aware of besides the elite strap being a cheap piece of shit that has broken on most people myself included

I bought into the WMR meme and while it isn't the worst thing ever considering it only cost me 170 dollars for room-scale proper vr experience, the lack of adjust stable lens for eye distance is so beyond stupid, I think the quest 2 also has a better fov.

I think the quest having internal sensors on the controller itself besides just gyroscope helps too for stability. The other problem I had with WMR is that the controllers can have all sorts of tracking problems because they chose bluetooth over a different type of signal. I get interference patterns all the time since I'm on wifi and it causes my controllers to wiggle unless I'm on specific channel frequencies.

My Index works perfectly on Windows 7 and I use it every day for games, only issue I found was TWD wouldn't run, because facebooks software is win10 only, that's what the devs said anyway
