Undertale was garbage that was just one giant ripoff of smaller things. Why the fuck would you be hyped for this?

Every game in the last 20 years is ripping off something. It's how you execute and combine old ideas that keeps them fresh. Once a medium leaves its infancy you cease to be able to make something that's 100% original.

Difficult. I know Toby is going to deliver, I know it in my heart of hearts, but the wait is so hard. I'm glad his team is crushing it though.

Fortunately I never played either until early last year, so my wait hasn't been as long. Still, I'm hopeful. Excited for more difficult boss fights and awesome music. Kinda gay, but might as well share it here - I had a dream earlier where me and a friend were racing in some big building like kids, and we were singing Field of Hopes and Dreams, but with the vocals from Don't Forget. Weird but happy dream.

I don't really mind the wait, I more or less worry that Toby's going to go full pander mode or that some ego is going to go to his head. Its already been so long since Undertale that another year or two isn't going to feel that much worse. My life has been picking up with responsibilities so the time is going by faster thankfully

I doubt it. His reaction to Undertale becoming a household name, sweeping game of the year awards, becoming an entry into the best games ever made and a 92 on Metacritic was to get really anxious and nervous and humble.

Replaying the bosses in Undertale and realizing how much better some of the easier ones are if you deliberately make them harder for yourself.

I do not care about Ralsei in the slightest. Give me Suzy and give me Catty and give me Berdly and give me fucking Burgerpants if need be.

Never played Undertale or Deltarune and dont plan to but i will continue enjoying Ralsei rule34 for the foreseeable future.

definitely, that plus I think Deltarune's demo is pretty good, which gives me hope, its more or less that you never know when things like that change
which ones do you recommend? I never checked them out

Well there are some playable fights from of the comic of Inverted Fate which are pretty great! And if want something of a hellish difficulty anything try FDY made, but I warn FDY likes his game as hard as tungsten!

They look pretty solid might check them out later if I feel like playing those, I've also been keeping tabs on undertale yellow, I didn't check out the demo but I like the premise as playing as the human with the yellow soul
