Because you're dumb and take the art as literal. It's basically Matt trying to imagine the entire room in his head based on sound, smell, and touch. He can't describe color or what a guy looks like (unless he's actually touching their face or something), but he can tell you the guy is 4 floors above and his heart rate.
I said an optional game mode for replay value, and most gamers wouldn't really take to an entire game that's essentially Detective Vision cranked up to 11 that you can't switch off

A mix between the original Battlefront 2's galaxy conquer mode and that one Justice League PS2 game. You play as the A-lister good guys trying to fight off an invasion of Earth by Darkseid and his goons.
The game shows you a map of the planet, at first still green and untouched by Darkseid. You can deploy your heroes at different places of the Earth, and when you do, the game zooms in onto the battlefield and lets you run/fly around between the city buildings freely. Once within, you can engage Darkseid's forces that are destroying the city, and if you stand around jerking off instead of dealing with it, you can watch entire buildings crashing and people being killed right before your eyes. Eventually, if you draw enough attention to yourself, you'll get a visit by one of Darkseid's generals, like Doomsday or Steppenwolf. Kill them, and you thwart the invasion temporarily. Die, and lose that hero for a period of time/permanently, depending on difficulty.
Outside of the ground battles, there'd be a resource management aspect where you'd have to keep track of the threat levels around the planet, the resources and fighting power of NPC military forces around the planet, possible upgrades you could have to your own heroes, and maybe something else. Everything happens in real time, of course, so you have to stay on your toes and pay attention to what areas are being attacked and how the enemy is moving currently, or Darkseid will grow too powerful and win.

Okay let's try to examine this another way;
>Daredevil enters a warehouse
>He can tell you that there's 3 men hiding on the second floor.
>The sound of their heartbeats indicate they know DD is there, and their adrenaline is pumping ready to shoot for an ambush.
>The smell of their sweat implies fear and possibly being high on drugs, which implies they are hair trigger and prone to make mistakes.
>By listening to how outside sounds enter the building structure, DD can tell all the entry points/routes to flank his opponents, and can tell that no one is outside to get caught in the crossfire.
>Daredevil smashes the only light in the poorly lit building, which he can sense thanks to the heat of the bulb. He has now blinded his adversaries and given himself another advantage to even the odds.
That's basically how Daredevil operates. He's a ninja with bullshit sensory overload, lacking only sight. A lot of it is breaking down a situation like Batman does, only not with fancy computers.
