I loved P3 and hated P4 and P5.
The stakes just weren’t there. The themes weren’t as serious or intense and just feels goofy.
In P3, you’re saving the fucking WORLD by killing your self by locking your soul as a door.
In P4 and P5 you’re just saving a few students.

The fog of the inaba region would have eventually spread through out the rest of the world, with no way of fixing it as the only ones given the means to were in the town. It's technically saving the world.
And technically you take out Ameno-Sagriri who was the cause of the fog, saving it once. Then take out Izanami who is the source of everything and would have likely tried it again because she could, saving it twice.
