Steam is dead.
If you bought a digital PS5 or a Series S, your console is also dead.

>Comcast
>Comcast
NGMI
Lol I download 1.2TB per DAY. If I had shitcast I would just switch to Uverse or something.
Lol, americans
Elon will save us with Star Link once the price comes down
>tfw "data cap" is illegal in my country
lmao amerimutts
>US
I don't live in 3rd world.
Any console in general. Aren't updates like fucking 10 thousand gigs
this will end when americans stop worshiping corporations
Who the fuck still uses (((Comcast))) anymore after ther last dozen Jewish moves
How?
>Switch ISPs
Literally not an option for 60% of the US.
and that's a good thing
Fuck off EuroFags
I already live where one of these caps exists, I have yet to hit the cap. It's only a problem if you're constantly buying games with 100 GB downloads like COD.
when hell freezes over? fuck
I have a stupid data cap which is why I have 29g worth of games on drives. Have to take advantage of any extra bandwidth I get a month. So annoying.
It will end when we start griefing lobbyists' houses in minecraft with lava buckets
You don't understand how bad it is in the US.
good thing I don't live in a third world country with data cap.
...do americans really?
How does it feel to live in a 3rd world country? I'm honestly curious.
Err sorry 29 tb of games on drives
Telecom companies are the worst, greediest cocksuckers and nobody can convince me otherwise.
I am a literal 3rd worlder and even we don't have data cap. Everyone is lmaoing at you murrifat.
i get my internet for free from Comcast the pirate life is good for me fuck Comcast thanks for the free wifi
you have no choice on ISP in many places. I live in a rural area and its either spectrum or pay 5 bucks a month less for shitty DSL that is 5mbps
remember when we said getting rid of net neutrality was a bad thing and we needed more? this is exactly why. there goes 4k streaming not that I care.
Well yeah, it's Comcast. They're the worst of the worst and basically revel in it because they have most of Congress in their pocket. It's never going to change. Go America!
It's not that American's worship corporations, it's that the corporation's won the class war about 40 years ago and have just been tightening and tightening their grip on power ever since.
bait
4k streaming will be available through Comcast's own streaming service and won't add to your data cap :)
How can we expect corporations to survive if they have to provide the service we pay them for? I for one am in support of datacaps that stop lazy freeloading customers from draining all the bandwidth of the poor defenseless cable companies.
#MAGA #netneutralityiscommunism #broadbandforwhitesonly
They have regional monopolies, and they sue every small start-up ISP that tries to challenge their marketshare.
can't "stop" because they own EVERYTHING
if all the normalfags stop, then MAYBE.....
I mean, I live in the US, with a data cap, and besides that one thing, where I am is pretty much the highest standard of living that exists in the world. I’ve been all over Europe etc, there are places that about match it but most of the time not. Sooo, data cap traded for nicest place to live otherwise, good trade.
Ps. The trick is not to live around minorities
you legitimately only have one or two opinions in rural america, and maybe three in a populated city
we're nearer to the sun exploding than to that happening
>laughs in verizon fios
im glad internet is an obscure niche luxury that has no productive use at all and is completely unrelated to money management, employment, paying taxes, etc.
i mean if it were, we would have to have some sort of national standards for it and have it be acceptable whatsoever.
I moved to the US this year from europe. I was worried about shit internet after hearing these horror stories and the fact that I was moving to a rural 2k inhabitants town didn't put me at ease either. Turns out I get a better connection here than I did back in italy and/or germany (lived in both)
>1.2TB data cap
>RIP gaming
man you first worlders are spoiled
I live in a third world shit hole with 200gb monthly cap and 800kbps downland speed and I manage to play video games just fine
Wait for starlink next year.
>comcast
They've been doing this for years. They actually just raised it from 1TB to 1.2TB like last year.
There's no fucking options. It's either comcast or 4G/satellite internet where I live.
i'm not disagreeing with that
>1.2 TB limit
Honestly, in what circumstance would you use that much data in a month’s time?
Good god bros how do we fix this.
This is the shit that happens when net neutrality laws are done away with.
>waits until after Drumpf leaves to start pulling its demonic policies
Did Sloppy Joe forget to pay the bill, or did Orangeman pay them too much?
>Download one 250gb Western game
>1/4th cap gone
>The 50gb day one update eats up more
ausfag here, been there done that (much smaller data caps of course)
you need to fucking riot and burn these cunts down - just tell black lives matter that this is targetting them because of netflix and they'll handle comcast for you.
The reason they're doing this is because of this. Comcast is tightening the noose and making it where you have to use their services and systems so that you don't cut into their shrinking data caps. Thank Trump for this shit and thank Congress while you're at it. No future president bother reinstating net neutrality either. Enjoy.
there are literal studies that almost half the US is living in developing country conditions. I guess if you are wealthy and live in a decent city or one of the non rust belt trailer trash small towns its great. Not saying Europe isn't going to shit though because it clearly is.
Imagine being this dense.
It's been like this for at least a decade now. Sometimes the isp would change, but it would still be the only realistic option in the area.
if you're downloading games you're fucked, but general internet usage every hour--online games included--is in the kilobytes
it's not possible to reach 1.2TB of information used a month through general use alone; just stop pirating shitty anime. comcast is doing you a favor
