The plot is cringe.
Being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is the much more appealing part of the game but you aren't doing that as much because the Tinkerer plotline is dumb as fuck.

Prowler being underutilized I get, since he's Miles' only really big villain and they're probably saving him for later, but there's not really any excuse for how much of an afterthought Phin's relationship with Miles feels like, especially since it's supposed to be the big emotional crux of the game.
They can't lean into the foreknowledge with Ock and Peter like they did for PS4, and they spent less time on that in this.
Honestly, some filler content of them working together to fuck up roxxon more would've helped.
Doing all the FNSM missions you can before the ending does help strenghten it a lot though, since everyone who blocks the reporters at the end are characters from those missions.

Friendly reminder that Spider-Man 1 The Movie Game, Spider-Man 2, and Ultimate Spider-Man are all backwards compatible on the Xbox 360, if you were to put in the Original Xbox Discs into the 360, you would load up the games. Overpriced imo. Minor tweak to traversal and that's pretty much it. I don't dislike the swinging, but so far nothing really compares to Spidey 2's swinging and speed. This game and the previous one took notes from it, but didn't go far enough.
