I'm pretty sure you can just call your bank and ask them to block future payments towards gacha editors like you would for online gambling. most of them have some sort of system to stop people from wasting all their money on dumb shit by setting up a maximum monthly amount and such.

Play a finished game with characters you don't need to pay for, and realize how far you've fallen. You should never pay to play as some character that was supposed to be in the game. If you're paying to play as a character that gets your dick hard, it'd be more economically sound to commission a modder to inject the distilled essence of your fetishes into a game you like to play. With the amount you're spending, you could have your own fantasies being completely fulfilled by a starving degenerate artist/modeler instead of funneling money into a foreign company that treats you like garbage to have a chance to play a game that feels complete.

I am in active discussions with a few modders about the potential of a Genshin Impact private server.
They're on track for a world duplication once they finish reverse-engineering the package communication between client and server.

Thank goodness it's easier than most MMOs due to Mihoyo's garbage security measures.

I won't expect a revival of Ragnarok Online tier private server service but if it's free with improved rates then I am all in.

this really depends on how much you play in a week.

If you are only doing dailies, then this obviously doesn't count. If you don't play outside of doing dailies and are only accumulating numbers, then you shouldn't be spending any money.

You realize you are paying for easy mode right? You wouldn't be caught dead playing on journo mode if it were offered for free, but if they ask you to pay 200 a month you'll apparently do it happily.

Diluc is a straightforward chap. Big sword, fire, hits stuff. Gameplay is ungabunga swing that sword around with some E to proc reactions and Q when available. Simple.
This explains his fanbase. Simple-minded folk, typically on the lower range of IQ; manual laborers, NEETs on govt assistance, low-tier service workers, etc. They just want to relax and unwind with their non-complicated gameplay fulfilling the same role and requiring the same neurons to fire as reality TV. Even in characterization he's shallow; Batman expy, billionaire crime fighter, some escapist fantasy that Diluc players want to be, that's it.

Klee is obviously the thinking man's pyro. The very gameplay is cerebral and warrants both strategic and tactical thinking. Positioning is paramount, and the admittedly awkward ranges and arcs of her normal and charged attacks forces a steep learning curve that people more attuned to Diluc often never manage to climb. Two charges on her E, and the necessity for bounce and cluster DPS or a anemo support to maximize it, means the Klee player is always making a cost-benefit analysis on the right time and angle to drop a dumpty instead of popping E's every cooldown; the skill ceiling is just so much higher, with so many variables: enemy positioning, explosive sparks, animation cancelling, etc.
Obviously, the intellectual requirements of such a playstyle dictate a completely different playerbase for Klee: These are human capital, high-performing individuals in professional services, medicine, science & tech, almost all with tertiary educations, active social and sex lives. In fact, even the character of Klee is designed to tug on the paternal instincts of this distinguished crowd: Many of them are in a position of financial and philosophical stability to care for and nourish a daughter like Klee.

It depends on the type of person you are.

And how does using Diluc to push enemies together into a corner with his Q so you can combo them with other characters count? Not that I've done it myself, I don't have either character and wish I did, but I've seen it used that way.

Even someone literally flushing their money down the toilet while getting kicked in the balls is getting better value for money. Paying any money at all in these games TAKES AWAY value. Games are all about that little feeling of accomplishment you get whenever you do something well, and if the only reason you can do it is because you payed for a stronger character you didn't really win on your own did you?

Single player is piss easy if you can forgive the fact that you have to run a server (online or offline) just for your sole pleasure.

Really don't see the point in doing this since you'll actually be weeks if not months behind the live server, and you'd have to keep this to a tiny secret club if you don't want a C&D from Mihoyo

i would definitely love being able to self host a server. there's no guaranteeing private ones won't go down eventually or run into issues, and this game is already single player for me
