2 is way too low, stop ignoring the good aspects and pretending the bad aspects ruin the game when 90% of them are inconsequential.
1 is too high, stop pretending the entire second half (not counting archives I guess) doesn't exist and that the game doesn't have some jank ass mechanics like instant, comboable backstabs and most of the covenants.
3 is too high as well, there's nothing it does well.
Haven't played the others.

I'll never get why 1 is on so many peoples' pedestals.

No fast travel until Anor Londo is so unsatisfying. People can try to defend it as immersive but it's backtracking no matter the semantics. II's got problems but adding fast travel out of the gate isn't one of them.

Forget II having some mediocre boss fights, I has THE worst boss in Bed of Chaos. How long did it take you to learn Pinwheel even had a second phase? And fighting the Asylum Demon a third time... yikes.

The AI is easily manipulated to doing dumb shit. Kiting and letting gravity get you easy souls was never so easy as DSI

Blighttown. Equally notorious for tanking FPS and for being the Water Temple of the game.

Let's not even pretend Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith are well designed. Seeing enemies from afar so it's near constant "run up and fight" combat.

I literally just played 1 last month and got finished with playing 2 a few hours ago. I have no desire to go back to 3. Keep pretending 1 is a masterpiece and 2 is dogshit for no particular reason tho.

Take the S tier and move it to C tier and it's correct.

Dark Souls is the worst Souls game by far and Bloodborne removed many of the greatest aspects of the series while having almost no gameplay variety at all, whether it be in weapons, in armor, in enemies, in bosses, and even in environments. Definitely the weakest entry.
