Here you go, I fixed Soulsborne games.
Here you go, I fixed Soulsborne games
I don't even remember a boss where running back is a huge pain in the ass besides maybe Nito
I complained about this before but people seem to think it's hardcore having to run past enemies, despite them providing no challenge and doing nothing but wasting your time
this should be an option for demons souls, not even meming
How about:
Respawn at the door BUT you lose all of your Souls and have no opportunity to get them back.
I believe the notion is that you should feel punished for losing, even if all that it would entail is the tedium of making your way back to the boss.
How about:
Respawn at the door BUT you lose a level for every respawn.
this sounds somewhat fair
this sounds retarded, and its an actual part of demons souls already
in my three pla ythroughs i never died to them but i'd imagine the way to the four kings would be a huge pain in the ass due to the elevators on the way you first need to call back up again
There really should be a bonfire in New Londo. Neither path to the four kings is ideal.
Sure, but you lose all souls and your player is forever marked.
how about permadeath
>Do you want to try again and respawn at fog door?
>Yes (4,99$)/No
There, fixed Soulsborne games.
or you could get good you bad fag
>Teleporting between bonfires is available from the start, but you must pay a certain amount of souls to use the mechanic, said amount increases as the game progresses"
Thoughts?
>player is forever marked
Hell no. Your steam account is forever marked. With an achievement.
Remove fast travel.
raising the price for teleportation to higher level areas would be better
git gud
Fucking casul...
>Achievement Unlocked: Little Bitch Boy
perfect.
I could get behind this
Nah..
nothing was fixed, you've just made them into something different
Based.
this would make sense in elden ring where (presumably) you can do any area from the start, the other souls games typically have areas locked by bosses so you'd be skipping content
fuck you trash, tower knight one shots with every attack and the road back to him is just tedious shit, dodging that fucking dragon is retarded, its like waiting on a bus stop 3 times in a row
i think Dark Souls 1 did it best, when you unlock bonfire teleport you're already late in the game. it should feel earned, plus the early-mid game levels are designed cleverly so there's no need for teleportation
it's not a pain in the ass it's just time consuming and kills your motivation to try more than a couple times. that and the fact that it's an atmospheric game with lots of detail that is best played at a slow pace, but then all of a sudden you have to travel back through a level after spending a couple of hours searching every corner.
Considering how much they toned down the amount of running to the boss room in dark souls 3, bloodborne and sekiro, I think FromSoft realized it was just bad game design. Death should be punishing, but there are better ways to do it than wasting the player's time. Sekiro's dragonrot is a step towards the right direction. I hope Elden Ring has a more advanced and in-depth version of it.
You don't actually need to take the elevators. Once you've drained the water, there's a drop you can do on the right side of the first courtyard area that's much faster. It's by those pots that you find some transient curses in.
If you want to summon, you risk being invaded while running to the boss
False Allant, Old Hero, Ornstein and Smough, 4Kings
>not savescumming right before fog gates
>in elden ring where (presumably) you can do any area from the start
why is that presumed?
Git gud.
mark your save as read only and just hit load game when you die :)
