Look at Florida, they've made immense gains there by appealing to cubans in the state. in 2022 both of their state wide officials up for reelection are cuban (governor and senator). You really think they aren't gonna do the same thing in Texas, Arizona, etc. as the older white population in these states starts to die off? It also ignores that while in the southwest republicans are dropping, they have actually been making substantial gains in the mid west and north east.
