Dante, Bayonetta, and Doom Slayer are arguably the only ones worth considering. Raiden isn't shit, Kratos isn't shit and every "god" he fights is a watered down version of the culture's depiction of their god, Raziel is effectively immortal but not very powerful.

there's a big power gap between bayo/slayer/dante and the rest. people want to ham up kratos as a "god killer" but greek gods are week shit and dad of war's depiction of norse gods was nothing short of insulting. they lowered power levels to make sure kratos could win.

Doom Slayer doesn't hurt humans so arguably he would only fight Alucard or Raziel there

you would still be protected, if they are just keep fighting then youre good to live your life

but his feats still count as beating a god as a normal dude, beating the fates and altering his own destiny, escaping hades 3 times and killing hades thus destroying the concept of death, escaping Hel, and killing the valkyries. kratos is pretty much immune to death. it doesn't matter what the fights in his series looked like.

the only reason I want to believe in raiden is because of him swinging a building sized sword tens of times in a fraction of a second against metal gear excelsus, but I seriously doubt he's on par with demons and god killers.

First off I can say Samus and Raiden have never managed to protect a thing I their life, especially when it has been their job to specifically do so. So not them. Bayonetta has experience protecting helpless people from many directions at once, including giving them a shield barrier that can take quite a beating, so I'll go with her.
