>No lightsabers
>No cool force powers
>No ancient monk order that swordfights and practices tranquility and serenity.

It's shit if you're a weeb. All we got was "muh space laser guns and high tech armor and technology with bounty hunters and alien secrets."

incorrect. however Jack is best waifu, anyone that says tali is better collects funko pops

What's worse, Andromeda or the sequel trilogy?

Andromeda isnt even that bad, it just isnt as good as the originals.

The sequel trilogy, on the other hand, is a mish mash of plots and the result of 2 directors egos tugging on each other

>>No lightsabers
Omniblades
>>No cool force powers
Biotics
>>No ancient monk order that fights and practices tranquility and serenity

Even on its own terms Andromeda is an awful game

Ominblades were a garbage weapon and Biotics were trash compared to force powers.

I did not care for most Biotic abilities. Some were alright.

>mass effect is bootleg star trek
>still manages to be better than star wars
logical and correct

Charge + nova are cooler than 90% of force powers

How does this happen?

EA SPORTS. IT'S IN THE GAME.

>that krogan taint downgrade
unforgivable

Used future starwars of the 80s is superior to mass effect in every way.

SJW future SW and ME universe are on simmilar standing

Andromeda is a piece of shit, I wish I could fist people who say it's good with an oven-mitt wrapped in barbed wire.

That’s a pretty low bar desu.

YO HO HO HE TOOK A BITE OF GUM GUM

frankly, its pathetic. The plot and worldbuilding are some of the biggest missed opportunities I have ever seen in a game. There are literally endless things you could have done with a game that takes place in an entirely new galaxy and they gave us nothing new or interesting.

They threw away most of the world building of the originals just to replace it with a half-assed simulacrum.

Only on account of Star Wars being highly goddamn overrated

I unironically agree.
At least it can (theoretically) do more than rebels vs. empire even if nobody did it yet.
Maybe the remasters sell well enough for the franchise to be returned to life while ignoring the existence of Andromeda.

If only they started using the universe rather than cycling everything back to the same few locations and groups. The universe is huge in scale. It's a universe where there are thousands of populated planets and trillions of people, where private corporations can conquer entire planets or build multi-billion ton ships for extragalactic colonization, where a single planetary initiative can build a 12,058 km planet-encircling ring and a single terrorist group can build dozens of 700-meter cruisers with the funds skimmed off the top of front organizations.

I've said this before, but a ME game set in a single before-unnmentioned sector of space and staying self-contained in that sector would work fine. Tons of planetary descriptions in ME2-ME3 offer incidental plot points for one. But Bioware just cannot stop masturbating over the Citadel and Cerberus.
