Human civilization could collapse tomorrow and the painting would be worth nothing. I don't know why you're trying to act cute by introducing arbitrary frames of reference. And if anything, since the dawn of photography and especially the internet, the painting's relative value has dropped astronomically. The painting was A LOT more valuable, relatively of course, when it was something that most people had never even seen, or had only even seen a replica of. Now just about everyone on the entire planet has seen the original article, albeit indirectly through photographs.

The painting did not automatically drop in value when photography and the internet started existing, it skyrocketed because now this 1-of-a-kind painting is now legendary and widely known. It's a legendary piece of tangible and REAL media. Whereas your Jpeg is actually worthless and innumerable. Alot of artists (pornographic or not) put your "original" to shame as well because it has no style or identity, just generic.

And a game will end after a few years if your lucky that it lasts that long, while the painting is... hundreds and still going. The only arbitrary frame of reference is yours by suggesting that human civilization ending hundreds, thousands, even tends of thousands or more from now will make the painting worthless and trying to compare that to something that stops existing after a few years when nobody wants to dump their bank accounts on acquiring realistically worthless Jpegs.
