What was the worst area in the entire Soulsborne series? Areas that infuriated you. I'll start.
Worst Levels in Soulsborne
Swamp Level in DeS
Swamp Level in DaS
Tedious, FPS going to 1x, shitty enemies and overall a bad labyrinth design approach
All poison swamp areas are the worst. Especially ds3 with those fucking one-shot dragons
@533535436
Plebest reply ever as expected from a tripfag
DeS Remake put in the sodden ring so now the swamp level is easy.
Which one? 3 had like half a dozen swamps because From's level designers are huffing paint and Miyazaki gave up his soul for Bloodborne's sony money
The one before the abyss watchers
Why do people hate shrine of amana?
I really liked it´s aesthetic
That one level in the DaS2 crown of the ashen king DLC where you have to run through a dropdown gate and in the end fight a recolor of a terrible boss
>it's
Tomb of the Giants is genuinely fucking horrible, there's nothing salvageable about that area, at least Blighttown and Lost Izalith are interesting to look at
It wasn’t so bad after it got patched, but was a fucking nightmare on release with the spellcasters having a massive aggro range and insane homing projectiles.
Because launch day Amana was nightmarish due to those fucking mage gals sniping you from across the level with their homing soul arrows before they were even being rendered
The Ringed City. Everything is a damage sponge and there's no interesting level design.
Ah, so it was just casuals. That's actually disappointing, I would have hoped From doesn't cave to them.
>"A... s-swamp!!?!? OH GOD OH FUCK NO, I HATE SWAMPS!!! GOD DAMMIT, MIYAZAKI YOU NIGGER, CAN'T YOU SEE I ALWAYS WANT TO GO FULL BLOODBORNE SPEED DURING MY PLAYTHHROUGH??? GOD FUCKING DAMMIT, THERE'S LIKE 1 BIG SWAMP AND 3 SMALLER ONES IN BASE DAS3 BUT I WILL JUST SAY THAT HALF OF THE GAME ARE SWAMPS JUST BECAUSE OF HOW PISSSED AM I, SHIT!"
just roll and bait the dragons into the fire
>he doesn't know
Those don't one shot even at base 10 vigor.
Also they die in 3 firebombs.
About what? That one humanity puzzle?
Big sword go swoosh swoosh haha
Swamps are just insanely boring level design
The one in the ringed city doesn't slow or poison you because they realized that would be retarded, and it still sours the entire area because it's a lazy open field filled with garbage enemies
It's the game design equivalent of shuffling random papers around and scrolling through twitter in the bathroom all day because they don't pay you enough to actually do your job
Yeah.
You can one shot plunge Herald Knights.
No? At least not on NG+6, which is the lowest I've played it at. It does less than half their health.
>NG+6
>complains about damage sponges
That's your problem for being a huge masochist then.
oof
I like getting high level characters.
>DeS
Fuck running through Tower of Latria 3-1 and 3-2. They're just boring after a first playthrough.
4-2 fucked me up unbelievably my first time playing the game. I think that area and 1-4 were most of my deaths.
>DaS1
The entire second half. Tomb of Giants is fucking wild if you don't have a light source. Duke's Archives is a shit show that isn't enjoyable in the slightest to navigate. Lost Izalith is sweaty dinosaur ass and needs no explaining about everything wrong with it. New Londo Ruins is just boring.
>DaS2
Unpatched Shrine of Amana. I was legitimately sweating bullets and hated this shit. Iron Keep can go fuck itself too. It's awful in both original and Scholar DaS2. I don't remember much else from DaS2 because I didn't like it very much so I never did the DLCs.
>DaS3
Cathedral of the Deep. It's the most boring area in the game and that's the only reason I dislike it. Outside of that I don't mind the rest of the game or the DLC areas. I think DaS3 had polished areas mostly and I don't really dread anything.
>Bloodborne
Fishing Hamlet. The entire area was made to fuck you up.
>Never did the DS2 DLCs
Why would you skip the best Souls content?
Because I didn't want to play more of the souls game with the gameplay I liked the least. After I played DaS3 and Bloodborne, I pretty much never went back to DaS1 or 2. I still replay DeS every year though since I like how it plays.
Horsefuck valley for sure.
It's easy once you know the ideal path, but getting there is tedious as hell.
Exploring it and finding a few buildings and items was kinda cool.
I use a 2H claymore with the stone ring and that stunlocks the horses every 2 hits so they were a non issue except in rare 2v1s
Frigid Outskirts
Blighttown running at 10fps
The ds2 dlc areas with cramped paths and loads of enemy to blue smelter or the horses in snow area
This
Its the only area I didn't bother finishing cause the boss and reward isn't even worth it.
and you trek through only to find a boring gank boss with terribad hitboxes
