Do you play on the highest difficulty?
Do you play on the highest difficulty?

No, I play on medium/normal, whichever one is harder
no, I'm a fag and I should be euthanized
Yes, and I'm very toxic about it.
Depends. If this is a game made post-2010, you usually have to play on hard to feel and sort of challenge. Unless it's a strategy game or FPS because my monkey brain can only handle normal difficulty at best
Only for Platinum/Kamiya games.
Half the time it’s because Hard mode is just called “normal”, while medium and easy are “easy” and “very easy”.
feel any sort of challenge* holy fuck am i autistic. in other vidya i have okay reactions but when it comes to fps somehow i age 60 years and can't react at all.
the only exception to that rule would be tf2 but that's probably a case of muscle memory rather than better reactions
yes 2016 was my first doom and I beat it on nightmare first playthrough
isnt this that british show, help me out
Hardest difficulty on the first playthrough, unless the developers artificially increase the replayability value or gameplay time by locking difficulties behind the typical "play on normal to unlock hard" bullshit
Peep show
chill faggot, no one gives a shit.

This was an eye opener clip for me. I cut my gaming down by at leat 80% after this and have fun less tolerance for shit
Yes, because it encourages the player to evaluate game mechanics that would otherwise be completely overlooked, thus experiencing the "true game". If you play games for the story and on lower difficulties you've robbed yourself of the true experience of the game, the highs and lows, the adrenaline fueled fever of the struggle.
Depends on genre:
For Total War and other strategy games its cancer playing hardest difficult.
For action games I'll do hard unless hard = damage sponge then I'll probably just quit the game entirely.
RPGs are never on hard because it's literally always damage sponge.
You know what I used to. I always figured it would give me the best experience and make me better at the game.
But now I'm old, have a job and other responsibilities and now I just want to play the game without it taking up too much time or frustrating me. I'm a normal/hard pleb now
No. Normal is made for normalfags whom are retards but the highest difficulty is never balanced. Devs get lazy and change some variables and call it a day. Between normal and the highest difficulty is what i usually select.
I play games to get at least some form of challenge otherwise I could just watch a playthrough somewhere
Only if its an actual challenge and not a hp bloat
I tend to play on 'Hard' diff. Second to hardest at least.
Either second hardest or hardest
yes, with no exceptions.
not even for intentionally broken joke difficulties, like nightmare in ultimate doom.
I play on whatever the second highest difficulty is unless there's only Easy and Normal. Very Hard is almost always dumb shit, so Hard is standard.
I play normal because 90% of devs have no idea what challenge is and instead make hardest difficulties an everlasting endurance round, unfair or based on luck
Only if it changes anything that's not more health and more damage on enemies.
Incredibly accurate
no i play normal then try a harder difficulty if i want to
No, I will almost never play the game on the highest on the first playthrough. i just want to have fun in my games. If I wanted a real fucking challenge I would go play an online PVP game. PVE games are literally designed to be beaten by the player and if you seriously think you are a real gamer by beating 1s and 0s made by devs then you are fucking pathetic. Whereas PVP games you actually have to rape the other player that is actively trying to rape you. Playing a PVE game is literally playing make believe. Playing a PVP game is a game of wits and shit.
pvp is gay, other people are gay
In PVP games you can ruin the lives of gays and nigger. But in the PVE game, you only ruin your own life.
that was deep, bro........
