I have no idea what his point is, but as a person who liked the original blade runner and the sequel. I think cyberpunk is utter trash that will be mass consumed and praised by the common retard.

I know you're trying to pick out images that make the game seem like BR2049 but the bottom picture just highlights even more how CDPR failed to create any atmosphere in the outskirts. The right picture looks inhospitable, polluted, war torn, miserable, imposing. Left looks like any old picture of the west coast. They had a chance to create something that stood out and had its own identity but they chose not to. Maybe they ran out of time but it'd a damn shame either way.

I liked K more than Deckard, but Roy Batty is just that much above every other character in both movies. Visually I found both very pleasing, but there's only one Roy Batty.

Might I remind everyone of how HomeFFront 2 turned out at launch after being in dev hell for 6 years. Also, the graphics in the gameplay videos give a plasticky vibe that is very off putting.

The first movie is alot more than just pretty cinematography, its a study of its characters and the world they live in. Its the first film we were shown when studying arthouse film. The second movie just has nothing to compare with the first, the first is all about philosphical conundrums, humanity, capitalism, modernity. The second is just about loneliness and not fitting in.

I was actually going to point to the fact that you don't have to experience everything in the world by trial and error to figure out some things are bad.
