>He's still mad
Working as intended
He's still mad
TLOU part III when ?
Mechanically it's easily the best game of the year.
>tfw you think it's just a decent game that's 100% impossible to talk about on Zig Forums
Casual.
desu i didnt even want to play the first one when it came out, and going back to uncharted sucked. all my real niggas play yakuza
Narrative driven games are unfortunately tied to how well the story is written, and TLOU is written by a hack.
lol
it's not a decent game tho
Pew pew bang bang
*ahem*
Actually on my second playthrough right now. Still a good game and I feel people go out of their way to ignore the gameplay, just so they can shit on the story. Which is still better than in the first one.
mechanically kys
>Sob sob remove penis remove penis
I was under the impression games were supposed to be enjoyable to play, not something I'm supposed to gaze at for four hours at a time while I sip wine and deliberate on artistic choices
TLOU part 2 and cyberpunk is all Zig Forums has talked about since june.
You are describing TLOU2 tho? At least Doom embraces itself being an FPS and doesn't rely on pretentious writing and reasoning to shoot baddies.
All those shitty memes and you still lost lmao
Just finished for the first time. Tempted to go back immediately and play grounded mode, it seems fun, no HUD/hitmarkers seems pretty kino.
I understand that being mad at Joel’s death was pretty much supposed to happen, and the whole Abby section feeling frustrating as hell at first was intended too.
But it’s still a bad video game story. You can judge a bad video game story very easily, just look at how much of that story coincides with the actual GAME part of the game. LOU1 had you doing horrible things as Joel and the game actually rolled with it and wove it into the plot. LOU2 has you killing 3X as many people as Ellie and Abby and they never address it. Ellie kills hundreds, and doesn’t seem to feel a thing, but she kills Nora in a less gruesome way and suddenly she’s traumatized...
It would work much better as a TV show than a game.
Based
The gameplay is fine for what it is, but let's not kid ourselves. The story is the main draw of this game, and the story is a huge pile of moldy feces that doesn't hold up to even the slightest bit of scrutiny.
It will probably win GotY, purely because it's being marketed as *the* game to play and since gaming is full of people who don't actually play video games people will play it and be amazed because they have nothing else to compare it to
I mean, good for you. I admire you're ability to ignore the awful pacing and narrative issues.

HUGO CHAVEZ MADE SURE DRUKMANN WOULD WIN DONT BELIEVE THE MAINSTRAM MEDIA. DOOM WON.
Why am I supposed to be upset at this scene again? Abby isn't very conventionally attractive although she looks pretty hot in that one scene after escaping the Scars, but the sudden action on the boat was pretty effective in showing us her and Owen's latent passion and how not over each other they are. It was payoff for the tension built across Day 1 flashbacks, captured the awkward, fumbling atmosphere very well, and was well acted and shot.
>he missed all the talk about bugsnax
>It's working because it's not as popular as the first game
I'll play it when I can get it for $15
AAAAHHHHHHHHHH! PLEASE DON'T BE TRUE! I VOTED ANIMAL CROSSING JUST SO CÜCKMANN WON'T WIN!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!! SAVE ME NIGGERMANN!!!!!
>recount the votes
>doom still lost
I will play it when it's available on Hen, but I'd buy it if I wasn't broke
The devs acknowledged that the body count would be lower in other media. But (1) I don't think you can compare combat deaths of armed mooks with cold blooded torturing of a semi-innocent person to death.
>kills Nora in a less gruesome way
We don't see it ourselves, but it's made very clear that Nora's death was horrendous. Certainly worse than the mooks' fate.
>It would work much better as a TV show than a game.
We'll find out soon enough, but actually I think TLOU2 relied on the player-character connection to build empathy with Abby.
>Ellie and her dyke friend ride on horseback from Jackson WY to Seattle WA.
To those of you not from the area, that's about 800 miles and that's assuming they take a direct path through two of the largest mountain ranges in the US. It would take them weeks and would probably kill them. The fact that they never address this speaks to the sheer amount of fuck that the creators did not give for creating a grounded, believable story.
Hopefully never.
