the cosmetic options don't really feel like that good of a reward for exploring and the secrets are incredibly mundane. nothing out of the way significantly enhances the way the game plays, so there's really no reason to bother unless you're going for completion.

The English dub in Cold Steel IV is so fucked.

If a boss isn't using it's arms / a sword / whatever to hit you it's magical. Also most raidwide damage is magical.

The game has so many different things going on that it can sometimes feel like a pain to manage them all, especially if it ends up dragging you out of something you actually wanted to do.
Master Mode just isn't really a very fun difficulty and while it's okay enough for bosses it can make non-boss gameplay a massive slog at times.

The Year of the Snake DLC sucked absolute ass. I thought I would get a proper post-game sidestory but fuck did it feel half-assed.

the camera also absolutely shits itself and the controls feel horrible whenever you use the jupiter gravity style, this is specially bad in close quarters, ike the one mission where you unlock it and have to spend the entire mission using it in a closed space, really appalling stuff

After you hit a certain stage there isn't really much initiative to carry on. Once you have that one good car you like you can pretty much do most races with it.

The camera gets fucked up on larger bosses, sometimes I feel like I'm fighting the game rather than the enemy. Not to mention the framerate, especially when combined with this, it feels like absolute ass.

Also the chalice dungeons are terribly balanced at times. Fucking Rom's little spider friends (there's like 40 of them throughout the fight) can oneshot you at like 1600 health, it's ridiculous.

The main characters line delivery is 'wooden'.

Also, don't use rocksteady mantle, evasion mantle or temporal, sure but don't use rocksteady, it will probably kill you rather than help you. Try using Divine Blessing as well. You can watch speedrunners try to fight Rajang so that you may learn how to handle his moves.

I was using rocksteady, so I'll switch that one out. I was already running Divine Blessing 3, which (together with guard 5) when I think about it is probably the reason I lasted as long as I did despite always blocking, never dodging.

I forgot the most obvious thing, be patient and respect Rajang's range and damage output.

the whole game is great and a solid sequel, but the story is so fucking bad that it's depressing and made the game's already shitty community go apeshit

Early game Kingdom Hearts 2 fucking sucks on Crit difficulty because you have 0 defensive abilities and even normal enemies can just steam roll you or catch you from off camera and kill you in one hit
It's fun as fuck once you actually get some abilities that give you some defensive options but until then it can feel pretty bullshit at times
Also the level design in general sucks
