Finally beat SS2.
Is it wrong if I say that this is easily the greatest out of all the "Shock" games? Seriously, as great as the Bioshock games are, this still beats them all.

You are correct, the first game is fine as well but the second game is better overall
OSA > Navy >>> Marine
High IQ individual detected.
The Polito form is dead, insect
What does OSA stand for?
I must say that mechanically I am more of a fan of Prey, but the enemy design and such in Prey is trash in all honesty and it skips on some of the most urgent aspects of SS2 such as inventory management unless it stops pausing that at some higher difficulty I didn't try.
If only the last few sections of SS2 were finished, because they were quite rushed if I remember correctly.
>Is it wrong if I say that this is easily the greatest out of all the "Shock" games
Yes, Shock 1 is better
SS2 is overrated
>but the second game is better overall
Wrong
SS1 was better
organization of sexy animals

Play the first game, alternatively play Prey, I think Arkane did an amazing job and a great addition to the shock-like games.
I used to disagree until I started using anti entropy field. Maintenance tools? Who needs em'.
OSA is the most OP class late game, no doubt about that, it's the only one where I managed to beat the game on Impossible.
Rushed or no "nah" was a great way to end it. Fuck Shodan. Literally and figuratively.
WTF are you talking about shock games nigger. This is one of the greatest games of all time. Period.
>Desu sex sword
>SS1 rapier
So uhhhhh what's with devs and making most of the weapons SHIT and then adding a weapon that trivializes whole game?
You can find a recording of Delacroix in Shodan's memories that tells to not assume the weaknesses of the enemies because they're digital versions of their real counterparts, it's obvious they wanted to make a much longer final level with more enemy variety than those red ninjas. It's a shame, really.
bioshock is too linear and has no interesting gameplay. aljso the atmos in ss2 is genuinely creepy and the SF element is super well done. the entire intro is golden and unsurpassed in feels.
Yes, next to ss1. Bioshock 1 itself was heavily dumbed down RPG wise and casualized for consoles, and the final product of Infinite was literally call of duty in the clouds. They might go back to the slight RPG mecahnics of bioshock 1 with bioshock 4 based on the rumors, but no way in hell it will be near SS2.
And System Shock 3 seems to be on life support due to Warren being an overrated idiot as always. The fucking SS1 remake has a bigger budget than 3.
I just hope the enhanced edition for SS2 doesn't mess with the gameplay, just adds fixes and small improvements like ss1eh did.
But bioshock 1 is absolutely great in its art. Bioshock infinite angered me greatly andI had to uninstall it after 40 minutes.
I've actually played Arkane's Prey game. That was also a pretty good one, but it still doesn't match SS2 in my eyes.
Also, I'm not exactly sure about getting into SS1, mainly due to how easily you can get stuck or lost in it without the use of a guide.
Didn't Tencent buy the rights to SS3 or something along those lines?
Yes. Literally a chinese company that only did mobile online games. It might as well be dead.
Yeah, I expect pre order bonuses at the very least, and DLC. Worst case scenario is we get a F2P multiplayer.
it's a given fact that SS2 is one of the absolute GOAT titles out there.
BS were disappointing consolishit even for their time.
I don't know if I'm just retarded but to me "taking the franchise forward" sounds like they've bought the entire franchise. Really misleading.
Being a contrarian doesn’t make you a interesting person
The first one is better.
Night dive still owns the rights. If they’re smart they’d axe the SS3 project before it’s too late
He's not wrong though, I played SS1 for the first time this year and it's easily one of my favorite games.
SS2 is a step above SS1 is most ways. If you personally like SS1 better that fine but it doesn’t change the fact that SS2 improved on many of SS1s faults
