Dying in an RPG breaks immersion.
Dying in an RPG breaks immersion
>an role playing game
Your shitty grammar breaks immersion.
*a RPG
le reddit meme
'An' is correct in this case.
Using a vs an is not based solely on the next letter of the word but rather the sound it makes.
A role playing game is correct
but its AN RPG
because the RPG is pronounced AHR PEE GEE
So you treat it the same as if it began with an 'A' and you use 'an'.
Based
Fucking retards
Based 500iq
What did he mean by this?
>imagine looking at "RPG" and thinking "AHR PEE GEE" instead of "role playing game"
you are autistic
+1 karma has been added to your account
>what is Planescape Torment
>the game has a cutscene about what happened right after you died
the only way to be more immersive
Imagine having your brain be slow on purpose
>be op
>be terrible at vidya
>constantly dying
>can't even progress through the game
>think "how do i get developers to make games easier for casuals such as myself?"
>post this thread
And I bet you think/read out 'Laugh Out Loud' every time some one posts lol, right?
Fucking imbecile.
Whose fault is that?
Why would this apply only to RPGs and not just every video game?
ESL retard.
it's the correct way to write it as the abbreviation starts with 'Ar' sound.
He's what we in the business like to call "The vast majority of the world". "RPG" has multiple meanings
There are games where death is a core mechanic of the game
Based ESLtard
For example, Hades would be a bit strange.
>Role playing game
>You take a role and play it
>You die
>You don't die in real life
Games are so soul less nowadays
Based an RPG pilled
You are wrong and I'm not even going to bother proving it to you
Based grammar nazi retards
>imagine looking at "RPG" and thinking "role playing game" instead of "Rulio Pablito Guellendo"
sisi senor
because immersion isn't important in mario
>somebody says something completely retarded
>gets called out on being a retard
>"No! Grammar nazis!"
Then stop sucking so bad at rpgs
Its an acronym so thats correct
Actually I kill myself every time I die in game to keep the immersion. I just didn't die in any game yet.
But there are video games that explain death in-game and most of them I know are in fact RPGs. Death can work pretty much normally, but games can make an effort to justify it. RPGs in particular do that all the time. Is that also immersion-breaking? Because death as a punishment is also kind of an important game mechanic.
