It's a prequel; she hasn't meteor'd in yet. That said, I'm not sure when the it takes place from the A2 perspective.
Babysitter Roxy/Joey's 90's shit implies that the kids' meteors are a good few years out, but that says nothing about the trolls', unless the Joey swap somehow serves as a reference point in both universes, binding them in circumstantial simultaneity.
Or they might pull another "non canon haha just depths of paradox space"

It's especially funny considering the one unique gimmick of the first act (using every item on everything for unique dialogue) got cut. I get why they cut it considering nobody is that autistic, but its still funny.

really hope thats not true. considering homestuck 2 is horrible and a trainwreck because that dickhead finally let fans work on something, but literally got the worst fans possible for it. and then the genesis project exists and looks like it could be the best homestuck game we'll ever get since it's pretty much what everyone wanted from a homestuck game
