The music is beautiful. Last I checked this was the composer first and only original soundtrack. I can't believe she's never gotten more work.

People often post this soundtrack as a joke because of how unconventional the compositions are but unironically I legitimately do believe that this track is a masterpiece

To me it gives off the feeling of a heroes journey with a dark undercurrent of negative energy to it, like an adventure that is going to have a bad conclusion. The guitar gives it a good feeling of forward movement but the ominous chanting and moaning in the background are just insidious enough to counterbalance the more upbeat parts of it.

It inspires a very particular kind of feeling I've never gotten from any piece of music.

I have never even played evergrace. I just really sit and think a lot about this song. I fully believe that people with shit tastes just actually don't get it.
