Just finished RDR2

I'm verysorry for not listening to you Zig Forums.

Not only is it not good, it's also not mediocre. Not only does the gameplay suck but Rockstar is arrogant and deluded enough to think wasting hours of my life walking like a turtle through camp, slowly galloping for minutes on end next to companions in every single fucking mission, listening to the same 90% recycled dialogue etc is worth the payoff (bad story and characters). It's really not. Only fanboys and teens might think this shit is a good narrative, let aloen a masterpiece.

Fuck this game and fuck Rockstar.

why did you play past the first 2 hours if you hated it so much

I liked it until the chapter where they go to Guarma. Then it became Call of Duty for a couple of hours.

Another dumbass filtered, boys.

You have nobody to blame but yourself, you have nobody to apologize to but yourself. Learn to blacklist 95% of the gaming industry and focus on quallity over quantity. Learn to only play and buy and reward games and developers who follow The Golden Rule:
Gameplay > Soundtrack & Art Direction > Sound Design & Animations > Story > Graphics

Stop being a noob, casual or fake gamer, improve and become a true gamer like me. It feels good to be a true gamer, I am always on the winning side.

Play Mad Max instead, at least it's honest about what it is

I didn't mind the first hours. By the time I realized how shit this game was I had invested a lot of time and fell for the sunken cost fallacy.

Pleb take. I've played and liked games with good gameplay and bad story and vice versa. The problem here is that the gameplay, story AND characters are bad. The onnly good thing about this mess are the graphics, but you can't play a fucking tech benchmark

Yeah I totally got filtered by the mature dialogue of "Our time is over, I have a plan, We just need more money, Have faith"

i can't believe you made it all the way to the end. i couldn't even get past the first town, it's so insanely slow and boring. you really have to be like a larper to enjoy all those endless animations.

I hated the gameplay and then I switched to keyboard and mouse and loved it

i understand OP since i also started to get bored of it around chapter V, but if you didnt even make it past the first town it just means you're a brainlet
with ADHD at that, go play witcher or some shit

You might say.. it's a slow burn.

You have chosen to remain a fool, it is your genetic destiny to be scammed and exploited.

fuck you faggot

The only way you would hate it this much is if you developef some sort of bias that's external from the game itself. Just be honest and admit that somebody you hate in real life really likes the game or somebody, or praise pissed you off online that caused you to have a distaste for it? Not trying to say it's a masterpiece but this sort of hate goes deeper than buying the game and developing hate as you progress through it.

>Just finished RDR2
Man I'm impressed. I made it into St Denis and lost interest

add triggering this faggot to the list of based things Rockstar has done

>everything is too sloooooow I want to get what I want QUICKERRRRR
I think you need to work on your patience, champ. Learn to pace yourself. Fortnite might be more your speed if you really can't handle the time needed to pay attention to detail.

this, honestly, theres plenty of zoomer games for zoomers to play, like fortnite, overwatch, valorant, etc

I mean, all his complaints are pretty spot on. Kinda making me mad about it too, now that I think about how much time I spent doing that shit vs actually fun shit.

What game exemplifies fun in the last two and a half years?

I liked it.

Strange thing; I love hunting but the moment I have every outfit from the trapper it loses the fun

The first time I played this last November I basically rushed through the story and didn't really like it. Riding around listening to idiots and doing exactly what the missions want you to do. I get it, rockstar has a story they want to tell, and that's why the missions are as rigid as they are. It's not enjoyable almost ever.

I've been playing it again this November and I'm not doing any missions if I can help it, I've just been fucking around the whole time and not listening to any npcs at camp. All I do is explore, hunt materials for satchels, do all the different challenges, raise my wanted level so I can ambush bounty hunters, fist fight, play poker, and just whatever I want. I'm having way more fun doing that than any of the missions. Being around those people is suffering. Doing the missions one after another continuously is suffering.

What makes you suspect OP even plays video games?

>but the moment I have every outfit from the trapper it loses the fun
You can't get everything from the trapper until the epilogue anyway.

>fortnite, overwatch, valorant are zoomer games because stuff happens quicker

however quake 3 or unreal tournament arent zoomer games?
lol

Of course it's rancid dog poop, it's a modern """game""" - 90% movie with 10% """gameplay"""

Admittedly it looks very good but I handed the controller back to my bud after about a minute of sludging around.

Most people are delusional because they think movie games only apply to Sony. RDR2 is like your prime movie game though. Along with the slow plodding walking

I'm grateful I trusted my instincts and did not buy it.

>"""game""" - 90% movie with 10% """gameplay"""
How is this the case? There's a giant open world where you can choose to go do the main missions whenever you want and the other time you get to experience whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it, how you want to do it in the open world simulation. It never pushes you to play the story and as a matter of fact you could probably get the full asking price of the game barely touching the story and getting out of the prologue.

Nah quite the opposite we need this again

I myself play quite some long ass games but then moment i say Death Stranding is a fucking snoozefest or the gameplay in RDR2 is a fucking slog I automatically get 10 replies calling me underage or bait

fuck off
i've put 1100 hours in new vegas and i've read +150h visual novels
maybe i should be the one calling RDR fags impatient zoomers because they can't read a long ass VN

I'm just tired of open world games. Never really liked open world racers either as they are not tightly honed for immediate gameplay. When Burnout went open world it became ass. Sandbox games just don't do it anymore.

Attached: zoomzoom.gif (360x270, 2.31M)

Liked the game, but if the sandbox in cyberpunk would be as weak as in rdr2, it would be really disappointing.

Just don't claim this is a movie game then it's all I'm asking. This is Rockstar formula and it's been that way since 2001. Just because everybody else has jumped on their dick and started making open World Games doesn't mean they have to suddenly stop making them..

i upgraded my pc for the game, one of the few purchases i actually regret buying because movement was awful. never falling for the rockstar meme again, they don't make fun games anymore

Maybe I wasted a ton of time, but I played like 100 hours and didn't even get all the outfits.

Cyberpunk already looks extremely lacking in quality compared to Red Dead Redemption 2. Physics, radiant ai, random open world stuff, graphics, cringe story etc

>2020 beyond

who the fuck doesn't have an internet connection in this day and age? the internet is considered a necessity just as much as the bills you pay for electricity and water
