if you can cheat and not get punished, do you deserve any rewards that come with it?

there's even a bigger correlation between cheating and being a descendant of Genghis Khan

that assumes you got away with it due to not being noticed through cleaver trickery/subtley. But most cheating is obviious but simply cnat be properly punished

so fuck em

The Presidential Election

Only until you get caught and then your castle of lies comes crashing down upon you.

Yes, applies to real life as well. Always cheat on your girl because you never know if she'll try cheating on you

there are a lot of people who build enough power to get away with cheating while being open about it.
for example the biggest pvp guilds in any given popular MMO all use bots, do RMT and use any exploit and cheat addon they can find
yet companies can't just outright ban them because they are a very important part of the community.

Came here to say this lol

that's the mentality the Chinese are being brought up with nowadays

is this why they are so successful?

worked out fine for me in highschool

No, you do know. She will at the first given opportunity.

Cheating to win is still winning.

Cheating can be fun but personally I'm not a fan of it unless it's the charitable kind
Cheating is entirely a developer problem for devs that didn't patch their own game, it's their responsibility to participate in the arms race that is coding multiplayer games, and if they can't do that then the devs should be blamed more than the cheaters. Unity games are notorious for being easy to cheat in because the serverside in a multiplayer game will accept anything the clientside might say if it isn't double-checked, such as "My weapon deals a ton of damage" or "I shot the weapon, therefore command "kill everyone" should happen"
>Fall Guys
>SCP Secret Lab
>Among Us
Fall Guys took the easy way out by just relying on third-party anti-cheats even if they had the money to hire a competent developer or two to rummage through the code, not sure about Among Us but now that the game became popular I think they might've patched it. Secret Lab is excusable because it was managed by a 17yo polish teen at the time and he just hired the guy that did server plugins that prevented cheating

No?
Winning while cheating is an unearned win, regardless of if you're caught or not.

but that's not how it works IRL

Closet cheating is cringe, going blatant is 100% chill and I have zero problems with it.

True. Expecting people to be nice and play fair because you are is a cuck mentality. Everyone is always in it for themselves, neber feel guilt for stepping on others to reach new heights.

It's a good thing we're talking about video games

Cheating is just pointless. If you cheat to win at CSGO, or Fall Guys, or whatever other game, why are you even playing? The point of all of these games is to play to win by skill. If you're cheating to win, whats even the point?

And if you're cheating to be some kind of "epic troll" and make others have a bad game or get mad, you're just a faggot. So you're losing no matter what. Even if you do get someone so extremely mad over voice/text that they explode, they probably don't even think about it in 1 minute after it's over and they've left the game or reported you. So again, you're just a fag. It's a lose/lose kind of situation

I cheat on dem girls
I cheat on dem gaems
I lie on job interviews

Life is a game and it's rigged so i'm "playing by the rules". Get a clue dorks

there's a lot of rewards that come from cheating in competitive games, in fact, the rewards are more valuable than cheating in singleplayer games.

Based

Depends what your goal is.

If youre looking for a shiny gold star on your profile or a win count or something, then yes, your gain is yours for surpassing the system
If you're thinking youre developing in any way as a player by cheating the game then good luck in any future patches, changes to the game, or even other games because once a scrub always a scrub.

Though depending on the game you might work out some strategies by breaking the systems like gaining access to hitboxes and other intel.

If you can successfully cheat at a top tier pro level and not be caught the entire time, yes. And if you do get caught, you need to be able to back it up with actual skill too. So again, it's just a completely moot point.

well you can sell accounts that have been boosted to high ranks, for one.

>Cheating on video games
Cringe, you're letting a program win the game for you
>Cheating on real life games
BASED, you managed to outsmart everyone at the table, basically taking the game to the next level.

Well thats the first point, jackass. If youre looking for some kind of extrinsic gain from cheating then you're probably good.

Maybe not ethically revered or desired but youre just.

Like what?

Okay Biden. Everybody knows this election is fraudulent.
