What's the My Sims game that is on PC?

There is a My Sims port on PC. It adds one new character for each interest and a whole new area. For some reason you can't move Sims into the new area.

I wish the DS version would get remade

I think the problem with My Sims is that the first one did good, EA got too excited, they tried milking it too fast and too soon, then everyone got tired of it.

Rimworld is comfy if you play with Randy. Then it all goes the shit for like 20 minutes, but then it gets comfy again

I actually enjoyed getting to go on adventures and explore new areas and meet new Sims with a cool story and lore behind it.

Thats just what EA did, any franchise had to be milked as much as it could. Happened to Spore too, but nobody remembers the spinoffs for that game

Already got it on my Steam wishlist but thanks anyway.

I think i still have that Spore game for the Wii somewhere. I don't remember the other spinoffs other then the fact that they exists.

I think Spore would have done better if bit went with it's original concept.

I keep hearing this, but the game ended up being nearly identical to it's first unveiling. The animation system was changed, likely for gameplay reasons, but that's really it. The graphics were always meant to be silly, Will Wright talked about how he wanted the game to be shown off in schools, and he compared the building system to mister potato head.
