What’s your worst case of buyer’s remorse? For me it was buying borderlands 3 at full price. And worst of all spending $250 on league of legends skins

Buying FF3-7 and 9. I don't love jrpg, I don't even know why I bought so many, just 7 and 9 woulf have been fine, at least I didn't buy the rest

I hate how much I've spent on League. Mostly just because the game pisses me off. I like playing it but fuck man half the time I'm playing I'm just beating myself up and having no fun

>only $250
just wait till you have income but no bills
anyway my biggest buyers remorse is the last of us. what a fucking slog of a game

Buying a Switch the week before the pandemic got serious.

I should have sold it for all those marked up prices.

thanks for reminding me

I don’t play anymore, I was a league addict at 28 and I’m 31 now but I’m still salty about spending so much money and time on it. I still like my zombie brand, blood lord vlad, and mistletoe Leblanc skins though

I haven't pre-ordered a game in years and I like to wait for the price to drop, but I bought the 80 dollars version of the Avengers because I love superheroes and I wanted another Marvel Ultimate Alliance style beat em up. I dropped it after rescuing Cap and sold it the next day. Total fucking disaster that killed Deus Ex.

pre ordering cyberpunk 2077

I rarely get buyer's remorse for games these days, but the two that are forever burned into my mind were Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End on the Wii, and the 6th-gen Bionicle game that was just called "Bionicle". I still forced myself to play them but I had no clue what I was thinking, especially with pirates since I was in 8th grade by then. It was a terrible port of the PSP version with wagglan that didn't even work half the time

I thought that too after the first hour or so
It gets good after a few hours
it's honestly more fun to just play ranked games

I feel that, I spent $60 on the deluxe version of a transformers movie video game on ps3

i bought the bundle day 1 despite having never played a star fox game and i still don't fucking know why. dropped it a level in
what the fuck were they thinking?

it's a strictly inferior version of SF64 and its faults don't even come from the gyro aiming. Miyamoto needs to be kept away from every franchise and only stick to management

GTA V
only to later discover that my pc couldn't even start it

I don't have a specific case. There was a certain period of time between 2010-2019 where I bought a lot of games because I finally had a job and the games were affordable. If the game was on sale I'd buy because in my mind I would have time to play it later. I have played a really small amount, maybe 1/10th of the backlog. Last year I said fuck it, and hid all the unwanted games in my Steam library. I'm currently playing Tales of Berseria for which I paid like $18 and is currently on sale like for $6. Who knows how much I spent on shit I have never touched.

i have only bought 3 games in the past decade, sleeping dogs, human revolution and rising storm 2

only HR got a sequel and it got jewed, fuck gayming

My bachelors degree.

I spent too much on hearthstone over the years. I stopped myself from buying the new expansion, and the last one also

playing black desert online

Most games other than wow expansions I wait till they are dirt cheap to play. The last game I pre-ordered and hyped for was Fable 2. That game was shit and I never bought a game for full price again.

Is this just a coomer game?

>buying borderlands 3 at full price.
I empathize with you. I have a friend who bought the game for full price along with that bullshit collectors edition. He still askes me every week to play with him.

I’ve never played a borderlands game and I feel like after paying 60 bucks my expectations will be too high so I still haven’t installed it

Probably TF2 and CSGO items, didn't spend crazy much, but still like $400 over a few years.

90% of my Steam library

Made the same mistake with the LOL skins

so many supposed "hidden gems" Zig Forums tells me to buy that end up being shit
at least I always wait for a sale

I've almost wasted that much on smite

run-escape membership

You let autists recommend games to you?

Bought a $3500 Sony tv 2 years ago. Fucking thing broke a weekend ago.

Buying Run-scape gold bruv

Meanwhile the $400 Samsung TV I bought 3 years ago is doing just fine. Also have a big 65" Sony TV for a third of what you paid.
