Great game with level design and philosophy from a better and by-gone era.

There's two ways to approach it. Either you can run through the levels using your fun powers to murder everyone lime a demi-god, or you can do it the correct and boomer way and play it as a non-lethal stealth game.

If you like it play the DLCs, then play 2. Then pretend like that's all there was, because The Outsider spin-off shits all over the lore and gameplay.

Arkane Studios is one of the only devs making immersive sims still. Dishonored 1 is brilliant if you enjoy relatively open ended mission structure and player choice.

Not even remotely similar other than assassinations being a theme/plot point. Gameplay they are nothing alike.

Dishonored 2 is still good, just doesnt have the same highs.

Decent stealth, really enjoyable combat and super powers but the game "punishes" you narratively by giving you darker events and an ending based on how much murder you do. Levels are fairly open with many routes to exploit and explore. You could do a whole lot worse for 3 dollars.

I really enjoyed it, and my nitpicks are easily overshadowed by everything this game does right. Overall, its a steal at 3 bucks. You'll easily find something to like.

It's a pretty good game. So-so story, good gameplay (2 playthroughs for ghost/high chaos), and a nice artstyle.

Good game, although a lot of the gadgets are combat oriented rather than stealth. I'd recommend doing a stealth playthrough and then one where you go nuts and just do cool kills and shit.

Death of the Outsider was literally the best Dishonored game because it got rid of the chaos system.

I'm curious why you don't think it did. I literally just got done playing 2 yesterday and I think it's leagues better.
