Let's be honest, 2 was a big step in the wrong direction, but expanding more on the universe (they didn't retcon) was worth playing it for.

The two theories I usually expect are a prequel set before the reapers fucking everything up. e.g. A smaller scale spin-off story like how Dragon Age 2 was to Origins, letting you go on a new and unrelated space adventure.

Or a sequel set so far in the future that the reapers fucking everything up is completely irrelevant.

Andromeda had plenty of loose plot threads hanging about for a sequel to pick up, but I feel like revisiting that name's just taboo for marketing at this point.

That doesn't work since every ending of ME3 drastically changes the state of the universe and Bioware is far too lazy to take all that into account.

In 2 everyone's "powers" would teleport to the enemy. I mean use Zaeed's grenade for example, if he uses it the enemy will get hit by something and if you use it you'll fucking miss almost every time because you're actually throwing it.

It is still surprising to me that these unironically happened. The first one is freaky yes, but the 2nd one its like they assumed nobody liked Jacob so they'll go have him shag some bitch, and any FemShep with bad enough taste to go for Jacob gets punished.

This. It's why they tried the whole "let's go to another Galaxy!" even though it makes no sense at all instead of making a sequel. The end to ME3 removes the possibility of sequels. If they do other games, it has to be prequels. Maybe human/turian first contact war?

Yeah I mean the last time I tried to play the first on pc, a couple years ago I couldn't really do it because there was just something about the environment and gameplay I didn't really like. Besides that the dialogue and shit going on was still cool tho. A remaster sounds good.

2's only mistake was the addition of ammo and dumb DLC shit. Everything else was an improvement.

It'd be lazy, but I bet they could write some quick work-arounds that ignore a lot of the changes from the endings if they really wanted to. Just need a massive time-skip.
