Persona 5 is probably the most boring movie game I’ve ever played.
Extremely disingenuous putting FighterZ there.
>Yet another westerncuck thread
That trials of mana ratio makes so much more sense after the nonstop shilling from autistic weebs
They are. Keep coping though, it's pretty cute.
trails cutscenes are super short though what
One side is filled primarily with RPG's which have always been story/characer focused and known for having extensive dialogue with NPC's for quest lines. The other side are action adventure games where half the game is spent walking and talking to people in a forest or other scenic area instead of actually having an adventure.
t. plays movie games and only doesn't call them movie games when they come from chink hands
That's the fucking worst having a cutscene for everything, just like Death Stranding
>want to rest and head back out again as soon as possible?
>cutscene for getting in the elevator
>cutscene of going to sleep
>story cutscene
>cutscene of waking up
>cutscene of getting on the elevator
>story cutscene
>character cutscene
>you now play again
it's immersive
>Trials of Mana
Why you lying?
>supposed 1CCs gameplay obsessed posters have: 0
Why do you ignore games that are nothing but raw gameplay and mastery? Do you unironically waste your time playing games like Terraria that feature non-gameplay like crafting ands excessive menu navigation? Literally every second of menu navigation or crafting is just as bad if not WORSE than watching a cutscene.
Not for me it isn't
>RDR2
>50 Hours
Just finishing the game, not even 100% it, got my like 75 hours
>Jap Games are better
True
DQ11 is a 100 hour game with 7 hours of cutscenes
Last of Us is a 20 hour game with 5 hours of cutscenes
This
The thing is, the gameplay AND the cutscenes are great in Japanese games.
That doesn't seem right at all unless you're leaving the dialogue auto-scrolling on the slowest setting, or the "all cutscenes" video included every possible main character's cutscenes since who you put in your party changes some events near the end of the game.
a 100% run is like 150 hours
For TLoU2 does it only count the hard cutscenes or does it also count all of the walking sections where characters talk but nothing else happens?
youtu.be
The referenced video is a full playthrough, including dungeons and boss fights. It's bait.
Yeah the first "all cutscenes" video I see is only 5 hours and I assume that includes all 3 possible endings
Western movie game
>5 ~ 8 hours of cutscenes
>5 hours of gameplay
>half of the gameplay is "walking slowly through a linear map with my sidekick talking about the story"
>Dungeons have the same variation of puzzles repeated a million times "destroy these 3 pillars with your axe" or "turn the lever to open hidden door"
Japanese non-movie game
>8 ~ 12 hours of cutscenes
>25~30 hours of gameplay
>multiple fun little mini games
>actual dungeons
There is no fucking way BOTW has around 5 hours of cutscenes
If you count all the "shrine rising from the ground" scenes that probably adds an hour or two
>game is more movie than game
The fuck are you on about?
Zig Forums sucks RDR2 so goddamn hard you'd think it had its lips superglued to the shaft so tight they won't come off.
