HITMAN 2016 but played in HITMAN 2

Blood Money

Probably this

Contracts
But all are worth playing except Absolution and first one

an eternal loop of Sapienza Hokaido and Miami back to back

ok but do you think Hitman 3 will be good?

Probably, its hard to fuck up the current formula

That wuhan level looks pretty sick

What am I missing by playing my free copy of 2016 on the Epic store? Until they give 2 away, I can't combine 2016 with H2 on Steam, even by connecting all to a io account

considering the worst maps in 2 were "pretty good" vs bangkok and colorado, and even the cheap dlc levels were kino, 3s maps will at least be that good

Blood money for sure

I am afraid it is going to be a resource hog, but other than that, and the EGS disaster, it's probably going to be fantastic

REMINDER NOBODY THOUGHT CAPCOM WOULD FUCKUP RE3MAKE AFTER RE2MAKE, AND THEY PULL THE BIGGEST TURD
IOI COULD PERFECTLY FUCK UP THE SAME WAY NOW THAT THEY ARE LIVING ON EGS MONEY

Wait how does that work? You can play 1 in 2? I remember in a video I watched them saying how the tech they are building will affect all 3 games? Can someone explain all this to me?

I have had Hitman 2016 for a while now, I only just started playing it again, I am trying to do all the escalation missions, but each map has a fuckton of side objectives and whatnot, it's kinda packed with content if you don't just do the main mission, silent assassin, suit only and call it a day. at least the paris level feels really great to play over and over again, it's at true vertical slice (maybe because it's vertically oriented) but I don't know about the rest of the levels. even the small training mission on the boat and military base are pretty neat, so tell me about why bangkok and colorado. why are they shit?

This.

But also Blood Money, like this chad

I WANT ALL THE BLOOD MONEY MISSIONS BUT REDONE IN THE NEW ENGINE / GAMEPLAY

IO I WOULD ACTUALLY BE A PAYPIG CONSOOMER FOR THIS SO PLEASE MAKE IT

today i realized SASO has literally ruined a lot of the game for me
it's like any other way of playing the game is wrong in my mind, like I am blocked
I need to SASO on 1 save, and if I get caught I restart
is it autism?

I think Bangkok is pretty nice actually.
I loved the tropical DLC one, just love turquoise water and sun. Makes me feel good.

If anything Mumbai is the worst map of the new series. Stinky, ugly, confusing, obnoxious... wait they really accurately captured the place!

You watch CJ and Kotti?

as far as I know, in terms of complexity and lifeness, mumbai is the most ambitious level of the whole 2 games, but I personally hate the vibes, except the train/movieset section

I did watch CJ for a while. Watching him helped me understand how you should approach the game, 2bh, and not follow the stories and markers

Is hitman 2 gold worth it its like 20 bucks or something on steam right nkw

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Contracts and Blood Money are also up there

Nu-Hitman is comfy but feels too different to classical Hitman

just have different saves for different playstyles. I'm the same way but once I get so familiar with a level then SASO gets too easy because you'll eventually find the most efficient method of doing this and unless you're the kinda guy who likes sex in the dark in the missionary position for the sole purpose of procreation then you'll eventually want to experiment with different playstyles.

buy the gold edition on key sites, lad
or buy vanilla and the season pass
worth every penny

>play through all of silent assassin
>don't realize the AI is even worse if you don't cap your framerate until the last mission

>you'll eventually find the most efficient method of doing this
this is what I truly love about both games
nailing SASO finding a route
I always end up 100% the missions, so I can enjoy every ending. I am clocking 200 hours so far, which is a lot for me.. I hardly waste more than 30 hours on any single game

the only thing I don't like is that everything is contextual. I liked in older games that you had to actually use the fiber wire like a weapon i.e. you have to get close enough, then prepare it, then 'attack' with it. it felt like you had more control over things. now it's just 'equip and press X to kill a nigga' and that's kinda gay

I’ve only played through absolution and the 2 new games, why do people hate on absolution so much? I didn’t think it was bad when I played it like 5 years ago

This. Any other answer is a shitpost.

>playing ALL the 2016 escalations
About a third of them are pretty good, but aton of them are padded with filler levels, or shit because of changes made to headcones in the summer 2016 update. A marrakesh one as the massuse was really annoying because of that.

I already burned out on 2016 once and 2 twice, so consider checking this chart to get an idea of which may be a waste of time.

Bangkok has great atmosphere, but one of the targets has a boring base route, and his mission story routes aren't great either. The other target has a decent route/stories but sits on the third floor on one half of a symmetrical hotel. Unlike Sapienza which does a great job filling out its non mission space for contracts, there's not aton to interact with on the other side. Normally being on the top of a tall building wouldn't be an issue, but unlike Paris, there's only two viable ways to scale to the floor suit only, and whats there is fairly restrictive in a way that isn't as fun as say Hokkaido.

Colorado has too many targets, is really flat, and you can easily get most targets inside a tiny house you can spawn near and leave by.

>tfw SASO no knockout on master

because it's a fundamental design change. absolutions levels were more like "get to point B from point A through this obstacle course" and also "here's this huge fucking setpiece to liven things up" it felt like a third person iteration of what deus ex became; a sort of action stealth game where you go from one point to another while either efficiently avoiding combat or beating every living being into a finely pulped paste of flesh. silent assassin and blood money were more open ended levels with multiple objectives to complete at any given time and you could vary your approach to maximize results, much like the sandboxes seen in 2016.

>no knockout
ofc. get in, get out
TUN TUN TAAN TAAAN TAAAN TAAAN
TUN TUN TAN TAN TAAAN TAN

Fuck yes! That's exactly my issue!

In Blood Money you just run at towards an edge and 47 will vault automatically if you keep pressing, feels good as fuck.

I really dislike Paris, the monolithic fortress layout just doesn't tingle my imagination for kills. It's not fun to master either.

What said, it was fundamentally a completely different game to previous entries. But in my opinion it isn't even a very good action game.

As a Hitman game it's terrible, as a linear stealth action game it's... ok.

How bad is blood money on PC? I know 360 is the definitive version, but I'm not dragging that piece of shit out

it's playable but you gotta get this mod:
ps2wide.net/pc.html#h4
I don't think any of it was censored or anything, it's virtually the same game.

I love nu-Hitman but I have trouble sticking with it.
