I can't say how disappointed I was that the Mothza wasn't the final boss. With the cave drawings worshipping it, and the fact that it's the one that crashed your ship and the biggest snax you saw for most of the game, I was sure it would be the final boss.

Scoopy banoopy is easy when you know the trick. Use your trip shot, put it on a camp fire, and then put the flaming rope in it's path. Scoopy trips and loses it's freeze protection and can be caught
