Gameplay, combat and rpg part is complete shit. Atmosphere tho is fucking kino, no game like this exists. I sometimes boot up and just walk around the forest picking flowers or play dice drink and go hunting

Yes, its great. Unless you are a mutt who cant handle a bit difficulty.

>Gameplay, combat and rpg part is complete shit.
Not really imo

The protag is shit.

Overrated by boomers, still good tho

I liked it.
One simple thing that stuffs people up: Your character is literally useless at just about everything at the start of the game. Don’t expect it be it to be like Skyrim or something, where you can solo a dungeon for your first quest.

It's not shit. You can complete the entire game by not killing anyone except one boss.
No niggers, good soundtrack and atmosphere.

It's great

best game i've played in years.

fantastic game but once you understand how the combat work it is become too easy

No, the only reason it got popular was Zig Forumsbaiting.

Is the dlc worth it?

>mixed things
not in this game, user
that was supposedly the problem

It's a great game

it is
better than witcher 3

Great eurojank, old Zig Forums would love this game

If you like Gothic and 2011 RPG games you'll like this

its comfy as shit. You start as a complete useless garbage peasant, them you have to work your way up. Its difficult at the star but its really a good game.
Best mission is the monastery one.

I like how you start as literal nobody, an illiterate peasant who can't even swing a sword, and work your way up to being a knight. The character progression feels rewarding and you can feel the benefits of practicing skills.

true

Exceptional setting and atmosphere held back by janky combat mechanics. Still a very good game.

Trash,
>muh Henwee

It’s ok but my insanely slow, I spent hours doing literally nothing in that game. In the end it just became hard to justify the time investment

>tfw no qt medieval gf

It's a fun game, solid 8/10. I wonder if all the complaints about the gameplay come from the people who can't be fucking bothered to spend literally 10 minutes to learn fighting with Captain Bernard. Overall, the game has its flaws (I can elaborate if you're interested) but I really consider KCD a step in the right direction when it comes to gamedev.

combat is fun and interesting but falls off late game when you steamroll everything in 1 hit
not a lot of choice for an rpg but it's more of an action adventure so w/e
fun exploration
quests are interesting
story is pretty good, I haven't played the dlc

I remember reading they wanted to make a larger game but couldn’t so they were going to split it up.
You think a sequel would still have him be a skilled fighter or would they reset his skills somehow? Or maybe just move on to a new character?

Very comfy. Reminds me of summer whenever I have a merry little stroll through the woods. There's some jank and the combat system starts out strong, but once you realize that there's no real point in trying to pull off combos and instead just riposte everything, it just falls apart. Overall it's worth a buy if you're into first person RPGs.

How does it holds up on PS4 now? Still a mess? Royal Edition + most recent patches.
