the company is already going bad, at least under the game development view, only their VR efforts are going well.They aren't doing new games at a reasonable rate and anything but Alyx sucked ( artifact failed sadly, underlord is 1/10th of what a company of their size need to be scoring and in constant downward trend).They are lazy as fuck doing games and eventually dota 2 will become too small, they can't survive on CSGO for 20 years.
Steam may print infinite money and it's still mostly the best DRM/Shop client, but they are failing at making it better and every year another company makes something better than one of their feature.EGS has better rates and is gaining ground, Discord or other communication software has better chats, GOG is less invasive etc.They are unbeaten in reviews at least.
