wouldn't be surprised if they put Leon in the same role as Marvin in RE2 eventually
either that or have him turn up occasionally and be cool like Plisskin in Metal Gear Solid 2
it's far easier to explore a character when the player doesn't control them as the developers can make him do things that the player wouldn't
