Anyone else have buyer's regret? I dont really like the textured back of the series x controller compared to the smooth back of the xbox one controller. Also my hand seems to cramp more since it's smaller in width. Mostly bought this cause I got a ebgames giftcard as a gift and my 3 year old xbone controller had started double pressing.
Anyone else have buyer's regret...

Me after buying Xbox Series X for ''''''power'''''''. LMAO what a shitshow it was. Sold it tho. Still I regret it since I wasted my time with that pre order shitshow.
It's my first Xbox controller and I can't understand how do you use RB and LB, switching from triggers seems too uncomfortable. I tried holding with both of my index and middle fingers, but that's uncomfortable af.
How do you hold this thing? My theory is that Xbox controllers were always designed for shooters, and yes, when you only use triggers it's very comfy.
Have you guys tried not being such girly faggots? Might help.
That's why I play on PC.
Don't use your middle finger at all for pressing buttons. Use your index fingers for the triggers and the middle part of your index fingers for the bumpers.
user, I'm literally complaning that the new controller is smaller than the previous one.
Imagine buying a launch console when it’ll be replaced and made obsolete by a pro version 6 months later, imagine preordering said launch console.
No, I think it's brilliant. I even like the clicky d-pad.
You just use your pointer fingers for both triggers and bumpers, just like L1 and R1 on a playstation controller
The series X design even smoothed them out to make switching between them easier
Nice LARP roach
this controller feels great
your hands must be fucked
this
I understand, but I feel like bumpers are too high, maybe I just need to adapt. Would've been better if they were on the same level as triggers.
D-pad is very good, they even added that "ball" thingy in the middle like on all Mega Drive and Saturn controllers so you can easily roll your thumb around and it will never register opposite directions at the same time.
I was thinking of getting the new Xbox controller since its $40 for black Friday. I use them on PC and
>mobile.
Is it really not an improvement?
I preferred the old triggers, but otherwise it's fine and the bumpers are much better
USBC alone is an improvement
Do you like it better than the xbone one? I'm thinking of just waiting before buying next gen controllers because they always make a revision.
Basically the same controller, the series version feels a little more premium to me but its marginal.
I'm that user who never used Xbox controllers before, but Sex controller feels solid as fuck, no squeaking at all even if you try to bend it or press button very hard (can't say the same about DualShock 3 and 4).
But I read somewhere that they still have problem where A and Y don't register if you press them at extreme angle or just press them too lightly. It's true, but I still haven't encountered it while playing regularly.
You press RB and LB with your index fingers and the triggers with your middle fingers
Don't like the width differences but the improved bumpers and USB-C makes up for it.
At least I'm not crazy and the thing is actually smaller. Clicky dpad is very nice tho.
I'm not buying a PS5 until it has actual games, but I really want the dualsense controller, is it any good you think?
serious question why sony made such a fuzz about their controller when we all know they won't use that shit for AAA games
I prefer the dualsense
youtube.com
one of the reasons why I didn't really like the controller after the DS4 since I primarily use bumpers in video games (don't play FPS)
>I'm thinking of just waiting before buying next gen controllers because they always make a revision.
user, the SeX controller is literally just a new revision of the Xbone controller.
>But I read somewhere that they still have problem where A and Y don't register if you press them at extreme angle or just press them too lightly. It's true, but I still haven't encountered it while playing regularly.
Jesus. I had that on two of my two xbone controller so had to return both of them, and people keep telling me how it works on their machine. I've seen quite a few threads and replies on different websites with people claiming all of their xbox controllers have always had that (it was like "all 3-4 of my controllers" even; I wonder if it's just that you don't notice this thing since you simply use it differently from the way I or those people do. It was really annoying though, so no idea how anyone wouldn't notice it, but it's kind of weird that so many controllers have that, and once again I had that on both of my xbox controllers, was I just unlucky? Doubtful.
Yeah I regret buying a ps5
I haven't got one myself yet, but people do seem to like it a lot, even though who vastly preferred the xbox controller before. I even read that your thumb is at a similar angle to the xbox controller now with how the Dualsense is shaped so you shouldn't complain about the layout even.
Nah I was going to buy one but its pointless I only play 360games and remake darksouls3 thats about it buying another £1990cashmere coat instead as Id rather look good than play shit games
I just hope the build quality lasts. Everything these days is made with cheaper parts and not built to last.
