It's one of the most boring games I've ever played. Boring protagonist, boring dialogue, boring characters, boring plot. Basically a tech demo. Gameplay is generic and repetitive.

The final boss/ stage is a fucking joke aswell and that little ugly nog woman is so fucking ugly

I'm old and have been playing games for 35 years and it's in my top 5. It's great for exploring and lore. It pushed all of my buttons, but I think the people that hate it are playing it like a TPS instead of exploring and reading things. It's absolutely important to read, watch and listen to everything you find to understand the plot and see how amazing the game is.

Its roughly like 20 hours long, I would say its fun for 10 hours max. There really just isn't a whole lot of powers, and your limited on weapon forms AND each form shares a pool of ammo so its weird to even let you have 2 at once as a weird limit.

Mod slots don't unlock fast enough, and expect to realize pumping Launch with mods is far better than anything else.

I really enjoyed it, wouldn't play full price for it though, but it was pretty good. The stuff after you meet your brother kind of sucked though, and the game just kind of...ends.

I seriously fucking love it, but people who somehow think Alan wake had good gameplay is better than this. It's fantastic and deserves a sequel

This game was heavily hyped, had a reasonably large budget, was advertised in all forms of media including real life billboards and shit, and disappeared/was not talked about at all after release.

I liked it, but the story is pretty weak and I can't say Jesse is that interesting of a character herself. I love the setting, a constantly shifting corporate building hellscape housing various supernatural objects and concepts is pretty cool. Gameplay feels nice, I was pretty satisfied with just launching shit at dudes at shooting them with my gun, but I feel like they could've had more interesting powers, and enemies. Dashing, flying, launching things, and shooting them all feel pretty smooth and that's what really kept everything fun to me. Battles can get crazy and I liked the fast pace of it all. If they went a littler weirder with everything I think the game would've been cooler though. ||Also that ending was lame, what were they thinking with everything after the Maze?||
